Hi readers,
It has been a while since I last wrote..
Well, I have my reasons ;D
Anyways, it has been exactly a week since I went to my teacher's house for her Hari Raya open house...
So it begins like this....
It was 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon....
I stopped playing my games and quickly got prepared to go to Pn.Zainah Musa's house...
And when I say quickly, I mean very quickly...
When I got prepared, it was already 4.40pm...
I rushed my father to send me there...
He asked whether I wanted to drive there myself but because I was rushing and the 'P' sticker hasn't been put on the car so I said "Nevermind."
So I arrived at my teacher's house at 4.50pm...
To my surprise, I was the first one there...
I saw some other school teachers, including my Ninjutsu sensei...
So I went in and greeted all the teachers and Puan Zainah Musa's family...
After greeting, my teacher welcomed me in to 'makan' first but I told her I wanted to wait for my classmates to arrive first...
So I sat down at the living room while waiting for the others to come...
We had all made a deal to arrive there by 5pm but I waited and no one came...
So my teacher said "Jason, eat first la. Your friends will come. Tak payah risau."
And so I ate first...
It was a simple Malay style meal but delicious....
There was nasi impit, kuah kacang, chicken curry, roti jala, some veggie in some weird yellow liquid, watermelon and my teacher's family recipe laksa...
So I ate while having a chat with some of the teachers eating there...
By around 5.20pm, Devaraja came with two others...
Once I was done eating, I made a call...
I called Sachin and Zafri to ask where they were...
They said they were on the way..
So then I called Govinash and he only said he was coming after I called him...
I decided to wait for him at the guardhouse..
When I was about to reach the guardhouse, I saw Zafri's car outside...
So he came down and waited with me...
Not long after, Govinash came along...
Then we walked back to teacher's house...
When we got back, there were some other guest as well...
Teacher asked me to show Zafri and Govinash what food there were and stuff like that...
Then, we sat down while they both ate...
So slowly my classmates come one by one...
Sachin, followed by Khoo Er Yang, Kavee, See Soon Yang, Jashen, Soong, Sharwesh, Lai Choon Kiat, Loi Chee Ming, Chew Joon Nick, and Gerard Wong...
While they were all having their 'makan' , we all chit chat as well...
Sachin was playing a Russell Peter's video on his phone...
Gerard was listening to K-pop on Lai's phone...
Everyone was doing something in short :P
After we were all done eating, we decided to go out and have a walk since it was getting stuffy inside...
So we told teacher that we were having a walk and went out...
I was taking photos the whole time as usual...
When I decided to take the photo of teacher's house she said "Ini masuk majalah apa??"
I replied "Majalah takde nama."
And so then we were on our way to the playground which I told them about...
We were all having a nice stroll and laugh towards the playground...
We almost looked like a group of gangster walking down the streets...
Not long after, we reached the playground...
We first went towards the hut and took a group photo together...
After that, mayhem began...
They played on the swings, ran around, made jokes, laugh like crazy...
Ahhh... It was like as though we were small children...
Sachin was taking a video of this....
We scared some of the people who were there I think...
They left the moment we got there...
I took photo of all their childish wonders...
It was so nice to see that we all still know how its like to enjoy ourselves...
And then I asked them all to gather at the slide set...
We took another group photo there...
It was a beautiful photo, but as usual, I was not in it :P
They played on the slide set a little and then they went on to the see-saw...
We had fun on the see saw..
Even I played on it...
After that, everyone scrambled around the playground...
Some of them played on the swings again...
After having much fun there, we eventually got tired and decided to head back to teacher's house..
We were all sweating like crazy already...
On the way back, I took some nice photos and even caught one which looked like running refugees photo...
Haha... :D
When we got back to teacher's house, some of my other classmates had arrived...
Daryl, Vijay, Jeyain, Philip, and Liew Mun Kent...
They were eating...
After talking with them for a while, we decided to go out and have some more fun...
This time, we decided to crash on Philip's car...
We played around his car...
Tried to lift it, make joke of it, raise the wipers up..
We did all sorts of nonsense on it...
And then, Loi accidentally did something to his car..
He lied down on the car and cause a crack on one of the mirrors...
We all laughed and when we told Philip, he did not believe us...
He only believed when he saw the picture on Facebook after going home :P
So we all had fun at teacher's house...
The clock showed 7pm and we were all suppose to leave by then...
Some of us then decided to go and catch a movie at Jusco...
We would get there by Soong's car and See's car...
After deciding who was coming with us, we thanked our teacher for the invitation and greeted farewell...
It was getting dark as we arrived at Jusco...
Me, Zafri, Sachin, Jashen, and Kavee was in Soong's car...
Gerard, Lai, and Loi was in See's car...
Loi and Gerard went home...
Vijay was at Jusco but he decided not to join us..
Sachin went to 7 eleven with Jashen and Kavee while Zafri went for his prayers at the surau..
The others was in See's car who was busy looking for a parking space..
So I was at the cinema theater checking out for what movie we could watch...
We only had two choice for the closest movie that time...
Final Destination 5 (18+) and Apollo 18 (PG13) ...
And I made phone calls and we finally decided to watch Final Destination 5...
So I went to the ticket counter along with Soong and Lai...
For your information, we are all under 18...
But we tried to sneak a ticket into the movie...
We were so close to getting our hands on it...
The man was already pressing it on his monitor until...
A woman asked, "Kamu semua atas 18 umur tak? "
I was so pissed that I almost wanted to choke her when she asked that...
So we were like "Ugghhh... Not all of us"
And then, we had no choice so we eventually decided to watch Apollo 18...
We had no idea what that movie was about....
While waiting outside as the room has not opened yet, we saw the trailer of Apollo 18 playing on one of the screen...
It looked rather scary and got us a bit hyped up to watch it...
So we bought our popcorns and drinks and went in after the room was opened...
We found room 7, entered the room and took our places...
Since we were the first one there, I took some photos before others entered the room...
We sat had a chat while waiting for the movie to start...
Then the trailers and advertisements started to play on the screen...
People were slowing coming in...
I sat between Lai and Sachin...
Soon after, the lights went off...
It was rather scary with the timing of the movie starting...
So the movie began...
The movie was made based on a footage from the time the Apollo 18 went to the moon...
It was rather boring at the start...
But things got interesting as the movie progressed...
The all so boring movie start to get more and more creepy, scary, shocking...
It got us on our seats...
Although we anticipated the first scary scene, we still got scared... Hahaha :D
Then more and more scary and disgusting scenes showed...
How many times did Sachin, Lai and I got scared...
There were even times we scared each other from jumping off our seats...
Lai even jumped and knocked on his seat...
Well, at the end, I would say this is a movie worth watching...
But it would be great if we could have watched Final Destination 5....
So we went to the restroom after the movie as usual...
Lai went back with See as soon as we went out..
Then I went down with Jashen, Soong, Zafri, Sachin, and Kavee...
We had a chat about the movie and some other stuff...
After that, Soong decided to go home so Kavee followed him...
Jashen's father came just after that...
My parents were shopping at Jusco at that time so I decided to keep Sachin and Zafri company till their parents came...
We waited outside..
Not too long and both of them had left the building...
So I went and search for my parents and the day ended like that...
That was one of the most fun I had for some time...
I really do enjoy every outing I go with my friends...
I look forward to more outings like this...
Till next time readers =D

Nicholas 21st Birthday
It was the 9th of September...
We celebrated my eldest brother's 21st birthday... (His birthday is actually 7th of September but 9th was a Saturday)
So the day went like this...
My mum was busy with the preparations for the party...
Cooking, cleaning and all... (You know what I mean :P )
Me and my brothers were playing during the morning...
After playing, we helped mum do some of the cleaning...
My brothers were cleaning while I was making the sandwiches...
And everyone was busy...
I did so many things for the first time that day...
It was the first time I ever cut a watermelon... LOL XD
The reason is because my mum does not allow us to use the knife...
But I insisted on helping and so I did...
Since it was my first time, I was not use to it...
Each time I cut there would be some excess on the skin and I would eat it..
God knows how many watermelon I ate while cutting it... Haha...
And then I also almost cut my finger but luckily the blade only hit my fingernail a little or who knows what might have happened...
And so I finally finished cutting the watermelon...
Another thing I did the first time was frying chickens >o<
So my mum told me what to do and I did as she told..
I dipped the marinated chickens into the flour till it is totally covered with it...
And then I slowly put them into the already heated oil...
And so I fried it using a small fire...
I waited for it to turn golden brown at least by a little...
But I waited so long and started to wonder whether I was doing it right or not...
So I asked my mum and she asked me to make the fire bigger and so I did...
After some time I wondered why the colour remained the same..
My mum then took it out of the frying pan and left it aside for awhile while I began to fry the next badge of chickens...
I saw the chickens that were removed earlier slowly changing to golden brown...
I was amazed for all this while I've been only eating fried chicken...
I did not know that it only changes colour once it is out of the frying pan....AMAZING!!!
And so with that first experience, I fried the remaining chickens like a professional... Haha...
Of course the drinks were prepared by no other than me...
The professional taster...
I made the punch rather well as it was complimented when everyone drank it... Hehe =D
And so the time for the party slowly reaches...
The food was prepared on the table...
Guest began to arrive...
My father's friend were the first to arrive...
Audrey was there and I took out a deck of cards to play with her along with my second brother...
I was busy doing some other things at the same time...
And of course I will never forget to take photos =D
After waiting for awhile, we decided to start eating as there was nobody coming after sometime..
My dad said the grace and prayer (for like almost the first time I've ever seen) rather well...
So we began eating...
I was playing some musics and all on the television too....
I even played some of the videos from our trip to Penang and Port Dickson...
Everyone had a great laugh...
Other guest slowly arrived one by one...
Lennin ( eldest brother's friend) , my aunt and her daughter (mother's side), my aunties and their children (father's side), and my two friends, Lai and Soong...
I was happy that Lai and Soong came despite being tired after badminton...
I was so busy moving up and down throughout the party...
Around 10pm + , we took out the cake and sang a birthday song for my brother...
Everyone was excited....
After singing the birthday song and eating the cake, I had to keep the guests occupied...
I took out my laptop to show to some photos to my parent's friends...
Lai and Soong were playing my PS2 at the back room while my parent's friend's children were playing my X-box 360 upstairs..
The mans were watching football...
Everyone was enjoying themselves while I was busy doing a lot of things...
When it was reaching midnight, Lai and Soong went home...
I was less busy when they left so I decided to start cleaning up a little...
I washed the plates while everyone was enjoying themselves...
My mother's friends praised me for doing the chores...
When I was done, I went to play along with Audrey and her friends upstairs...
Soon it was time to leave, we went down and greeted our farewells...
As usual the farewells take almost ages...
After that, we were busy cleaning up the house...
My dad knocked out as soon as the guest left....
He was tired and drunk after drinking and having so much of fun...
My two brothers slept early too...
I was the only one up helping my mum to clean the house up...
Soon I felt tired too so I decided to sleep but only after the cleaning was almost done...
My mum stayed up and continue with the chores...
And so the day ended like that...
It was a long and tiring but fun day for me...
I really had fun and look forward to having a party which will be very awesome for my 21st birthday...
Till that day comes reader...
Take care...

Youth Parish Retreat
Yesterday morning was the Youth Parish Retreat...
I did not wanted to go and was still in bed at around 7.40am....
Then, my mother woke me up from a SMS from Ezra...
He told me he was going and asked if I wanted to go...
At first I hesitated, but after SMS Ezra back and forth, I finally decided to go...
So slowly I woke up feeling tired as I slept late last night not expecting to go for the retreat....
I quickly got prepared and headed off to church...
As I was preparing, I realised something...
It wasn't my Ezra who is asking me to go for this retreat...
Instead, it was actually a call from God...
A call to join my friends to learn more about our faith and him....
I was awed by this...
I got there at around 8.25am, it was almost beginning...
I entered the hall and I saw my teachers and friends...
I looked for a place but there wasn't any where I could sit with my friends....
So I helped the teachers to arrange more chairs at the back...
Soon after, Ezra came and we sat together at one corner of the hall....
Father John first gave a speech and all, welcoming us for the retreat...
After that, we started with the praise and worship done by the CSS and the Y2Y...
I did not particularly like the first song but I did like the second one...
After the praise and worship, we had Father Raymond Michael facilitating this retreat...
He was gonna run the sessions in the morning...
He was a nice and funny priest... (Not as funny as Father Danny though)
He was a Franciscan Capuchin priest...
He began by telling us about the World Youth Day at Madrid which just recently ended...
Then, he elaborated on it...
About the Popes message to Youths and stuff like that...
A video about the history of World Youth Day was shown to us...
After the video, he mentioned the three key words that the Pope used:
- Planted
- Built up
- Firm
So for the first session, he elaborated on this three words and finally he broke us into groups....
We were to do a sharing among our own group about,
"How am I rooted in my Catholic faith?"
The question went something like that (I've forgotten)
I was chosen as the leader....
So each member of the team discussed about this question...
I asked them to share and we moved in an anticlockwise rotation...
Everyone gave some answers and Luke was writing them down as I tell him what to write...
Once the sharing session had ended, each team was to present about it to the others...
Most people had almost the same answers but with a few add-on here and there...
Once the presenting ended, we went for a short tea break at the cafeteria...
We had wade and tea/coffee for breakfast...
I sat with my some of my friends around the three while everyone else was sitting on the tables...
After the break, we re-entered the hall and took our place...
Father Raymond Michael mentioned about the new Eucharist...
He said that the words that we use during Mass will be changed to the new translation from the original text....
He explained briefly about it as Father Alvin Ho(one of our new priest in the Parish) was going to explain more detailed later in the afternoon...
Father Raymond Michael explained about the history of the Eucharist and what it is...
He also mentioned about the difference between hearing and listening...
While explaining the history of the Eucharist, he told us when the first Mass ever was held...
It was the Last Supper, that was the first ever Mass in history of the Catholic Church...
He also told us about offertory during the Middle Ages...
Back then, people would bring livestocks as and offering during Mass...
These livestocks will be used to feed the poor...
But in the present day, we would instead give money for the priest to buy food for the poor...
Another thing was when the priest wipes his hand, it symbolises wiping the dirty hands after accepting the offering in those days...
The history of the Eucharist and what it symbolises in those day was truly amazing...
Somewhere during one of the sessions, Father had also shown us some videos of people talking about how they are rooted in their faith as Catholics...
After explaining about the Eucharist and all, we again went back to our group to answer these questions:
- What is the Eucharist?
- What part does the Eucharist play in my life?
Not many people could give us answers for this so Luke and me crapped up some answers by ourselves and after hearing some comments from a few of them...
Then again, the groups were called out to present our answers but this time starting with group 6, my group...
So I went up and told our answers...
Once everyone was finished, Father Raymond Michael said this to us:
"I've been to many churches in KL but this is one of the best sharing and answers I have ever heard. The depth and meaning is there."
And everyone started clapping and cheering....
We were proud of our youths...
After that session, it was time for lunch...
But before we went for lunch, Father Alvin Ho gave us some instructions before we left the hall...
So it was lunch time, I sat with Ezra, Darell, Esther, Judy and Luke...
Darell was showing Ezra the video from their media camp on his notebook...
The rest was watching...
I've already watched it so I just ate my food but peeked here and there...
After watching that, we watched some other videos on Darell's notebook...
It was all funny...
Joan came by later and watched the videos with us...
While watching the videos, we were all having a chat as well...
After that, we played ANGRY BIRDS!!! for a little while...
The whole lunch break we were busy with Darell's notebook...
By the time we knew it, time had passed and it was time to return to the hall...
Father Alvin started the session by breaking us into our groups...
He used the name list that we wrote and gave him before the break to make the group...
Who would have thought a name list can affect the grouping... Haha XP
But luckily I got my bunch of friends from confirmation as my group...
Who would have thought writing names together would be so good ... Hehe :D
So we broke into our groups....
Each one of us were already given a paper that shows the new translation of the words used in Mass..
Our work was to identify in a group how many changes has been made....
Each one of us were already given a paper that shows the new translation of the words used in Mass..
Our work was to identify in a group how many changes has been made....
And so in my group consisting of Ezra, Luke, Jude, Steffi, Lisha and me...
We did the task on the hall stage, behind the curtains with the fan and air-cond on :D
It was so hot that day so we took advantage of that...Haha..
Ezra and the girls did the most work while Luke, Judy and me were having fun...
We did help a little though...
Ezra as usual did great...
Once we were done, we were all joking around and laughing our hearts out...
It was fun and soon after, Father Alvin called us all to gather back and take our seats...
He asked the groups one bye one how many differences we spotted...
After that, he went through with us what changed...
Once he was done with that, he explained to us part by part about the celebration of the Mass..
The introductory rite, the liturgy of the word, the liturgy of the Eucharist, and the concluding rite....
He used videos that explained about them and stopped it here and there to explain it to us more detailed...
Father Alvin is a very knowledgeable and serious person..
He does not like people taking lightly on what he talks about..
Russell go it badly from him, and so did Bradley....
After two hours of talking about the history of the Eucharist and explaining it all, we had a tea break...
There only was tea and coffee as the curry puffs have not arrived yet...
But it was refreshing after such a long serious talk...
After the break, we went back to the hall again...
When we were all back in the hall, Father Alvin continued a little more about the Mass celebration...
There was some Q&A session (Question and Answer) and then he gave us instructions again...
We were to move to the Adoration Room three by three...
There was going to be an adoration session there...
The Blessed Sacrament was placed on the table...
Behind that table was the three priests of our Parish (or currently known as the Trinity.. Haha )
Behind that table was the three priests of our Parish (or currently known as the Trinity.. Haha )
The Tamil speaking youths were already kneeling down inside when we got there...
So the rest of us quietly entered the room and knelt down...
Father John was going on with some talking and prayers...
After some time, my knees started to hurt so I knelt in a lower position...
But eventually it got too painful so I sat on the chair as I saw others doing so too...
As everyone was there, we joined Father John with all the chant he was chanting...
One of it, "Be still and know I am God" ...
It was a wonderful chant...
Everyone followed after he chanted it for a few times...
Then, he did it, girls only and boys only...
It was melodious and spiritually relaxing...
Then, I heard some people crying from the chant already...
As usual, in the silent presence of God, singing his praises, people do feel his presence..
I saw the girl kneeling beside me crying so sadly...
I do not cry easily (except in confirmation camp or when I'm very angry/sad)....
But looking at her crying so sadly really makes one's heart feel the same...
I could just feel the strong presence in the room...
Then, we were instructed to go three by three...
To touch the Blessed Sacrament on the bottom part of it while the three priests holds on to our hands and pray for us...

The Blessed Sacrament
Everyone was listening to what Father John was saying and follow whatever chant he was chanting...
The chants were all so beautiful....
While people go in front three by three, chants were chanted and after every chant, Father John says a prayer...
I waited long for my turn to finally come...
People seem rather selfish rushing from the back to get the blessings despite some at the front haven't..
It was rude but there was nothing we can say about it...
Once it was all over, we were blessed and forgiven of our sins...
Father John then talked to us for awhile and finally he said "Now let everyone meet everyone"....
So everyone went around to greet one another with the sign of peace...
Even the three priests join and greeted everyone...
After all that, we had the closing prayer and final word...
After that, we headed to the cafeteria to have the curry puffs that we did not get to eat earlier...
I stayed there with Darell and Ezra for awhile, chit chatting while eating curry puff along with air bandung...
Once I was finish, I headed for the hall and then I went back with teacher Gerald...
Retreats like this is really worth the time and should be done more often...
I found it rather satisfying and look forward to more of it...
Till next time readers ^^

One Day Camp for Catholic Paulians
Today,
I attended a one day camp at school...
The camp was meant for the Catholic boys in St.Paul Secondary...
I was awake early at 7am to get ready to go to school...
My father sent me there...
I was excited as I already knew who was facilitating the camp...
FATHER DANNY!!!
The most hilarious priest alive...
Since he was facilitating, I was sure its gonna be fun...
So I arrived there around 8am...
Some of them were already there when I arrived...
I registered myself and got my name tag...
My friends were there already...
Ezra was there...
We were at the hall upstairs...
So we waited for others to come....
It was a cold morning as it had rain earlier....
In the chilly cool morning, we waited and chatted...
Not many turned up as expected...
Only around 20 turned up where the rest arrived later on when sessions had begun...
Soon after, the teachers arrive and so did Father Danny...
I learnt that he was in school since 8am loitering around...
And after chatting with Father and the teachers for awhile, session was about to begin...
We started off with the praise and worship session...
The singing was rather dull as many of them did not sing along...
After the singing, Father commented on the singing and made a joke out of it..
He mentioned about the cold morning which was suitable for...sleeping :P
He then requested that we move to the Form 6 classroom downstairs as it would be easier to hear each other in a smaller room rather than shouting in the hall...
It was a good idea and so we cleaned up the hall and quickly went down..
As they were organising themselves downstairs, I was closing up the hall...
I went down a joined them after that...
We rearranged the tables to put 5 group of 4 tables....
Then, when everyone entered and moved to the table of their choice, Father told us to stand at the back...
He used the number method to decide our group counting from 1 to 5...
I was in group 3...
So was Ezra, Zeke, Russell, and Charlene was in my group as well...
After rearranging, Ezra was separated and put into another group...
Once he was done arranging the groups, session began....
The teachers were kindly asked to leave the room for our first session...
Father Danny started with asking us about "What I like about being a Paulian"....
Then he started to talk about it and told some stories...
He mentioned a lot of stuff about how privileged we are to have a Catholic community and still continue to be called a Paulian...
He said one day when the school is taken over by the Malays, the name Paulians might be called Muhammadians... Haha... A real laugh...
But then he told us about the story of how Christians and Muslims actually worked together to fight for their rights against the Jews in the past....
And then we went on, he asked some people what they like about being a Paulian...
Then, he gave each group a mahjong paper to write it down...
Once we were done, he asked us to write "What I dislike about being a Paulian" .....
After writing down both the likes and dislikes, he asked us to present it group by group...
There were all kinds of funny answers and we had a great laugh...
Father commented on certain stuffs here and there...
We could share openly as the teachers were not there and it was only among us and Father...
After the session was over, we went for our tea break...
We had some mee hoon and tea....
During the break, I was asked to bring the small Bibles from the prayer room to the classroom and so I did along with the help of some others...
After the break, we returned to the classroom....
Once we were settled, Father asked us to sing the song 'Above All'...
I joined the group in front as the singing group and we sang it the first time...
After that, Father asked us to close our eyes and reflect on the lyrics of the song as he, Ezra and myself...
We sang the song meaningfully as the others listen...
It was a moment of awe as the room was filled with the praises to God on high....
Once we were done singing, he asked us this....
"Name me some teenagers from the New Testament of the Bible"
Everyone started with the easiest one Mother Mary when the angel Gabriel come down to her was a teenager...
Nobody knew who else there was after that...
So one by one, Father mentioned the names and the Bible texts which relates to them....
They were:
- John Mark from the Acts of the Apostle 15:36
- Timothy from 2 Tim 4:11
- Rhoda the servant from Acts of the Apostle 12:7-17
- And the boy who gave Jesus the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes to feed 5000 men not including children and women
Later, he asked Daryl to read from the Gospel of Luke 15:11-32 about the prodigal son...
He told us to remember this line:
'Severe famine in that Country'
What did it really meant??
The boy could feed the pigs when they mentioned 'severe famine' ...
By right if it is severe, there should not even have been food to feed the pigs...
What Jesus meant when he told the disciples this parable was that the severe famine is the sign of emptiness ...
In that Country was referring to the prodigal son...
It was fascinating how that line could hold such deep meaning...
After all the bible sharing stuff and all, he asked us about our struggles both in school and at home...
The teachers were again asked to leave during this session....
So everyone mentioned some struggles and Father explained and understood those struggles...
Then he asked some questions like, "Who has struggles with your parents?"
Something like that and people raised their hands according to the struggles...
Once all that was over with, he did some serious talk which was like some kind of advice to us...
He even told us some stories about others who struggle in life and all...
After that, we went for lunch...
We waited a little for the food to arrive...
As soon as the food arrived, everyone quickly went to help and bring the food in as everyone was hungry...
The food was spicy but delicious...
Some of us were literally sweating from the spiciness....
After lunch, we came back to the classroom...
I was not sure when but Father Danny had explained to us about another Bible text from
Mark 2:1-12 which was about a friend in need, is a friend indeed...
A was a story about how the faith of four men to help their paralytic friend made him well...
It was a great story to show us about helping others in our faith life...
Anyways, after lunch, the main program was the role play...
After discussing about the struggles and all, he asked each group to prepare a role play whether about the struggle at home or in school...
It was all spontaneous but it was done well and the message was there...
It was funny too..
My group did about "How you are treated is not necessarily how you should treat others"
After all the role playing, Father had taught us how to pray and also told some more stories...
He prayed for us and blessed us...
Once it was all done, Miss Lucy gave Father Danny a token of appreciation..
The tables and chairs were rearranged to its original positions while I was with Joan going to keep the mini Bibles back to the prayer room...
We were all given each a necklace of the Divine Mercy which was blessed by Father Danny...
Father had left in a hurry...
He did not have enough time to share some other things he planned out for us sadly...
Either ways,
We had fun that day....
Though it was half a day we learnt a lot of valuable stuff as teenagers and students...
Father Danny truly is awesome and we are blessed to have him, a Paulian and a Seremban local to be with us and share with us the love of Christ...
God bless us and I continue to pray that Father Danny remains healthy and continue to inspire more youths all around...

Such a mood killer!!!
Yesterday was a tiring, fun yet bad day for me...
We have just finished our last paper (for now actually), Biology, yesterday..
We planned a futsal game later that night...
We wanted to enjoy ourselves after two long week of exams...
And so I went home tired from doing the exam..
We were all excited that it was the last paper...
Lai had also planned a badminton game just before the futsal game...
At first I did not wanted to go, but after thinking about it, I decided to go for both....
So it was 4 hours straight of exercise. But I was down with it...
When I reached home, I took a shower first...
After that, I had a cup of milo with biscuits and a plate of mee...
I knew I have no time to have dinner because I would be out playing from 6.30pm to 10.30pm so I ate as much as I can first...
At 5pm, I watched the Challenger (A Korean variety program). It was a great episode which was rather hard to watch from what happened...
My favourite player was out of the game and I was rather pissed from what happened...
Right after that program, I rushed and packed my stuff...
I quickly got prepared and my dad took me to the badminton centre, Summer Sports...
I asked him for RM20 and he asked me a lot of questions...
On the way there, I got annoyed from the nagging he gave me....
When I got there, no one had arrived yet...
I called Lai and Sachin...
They both said they were on the way...
So I waited outside as it was my first time there....
When Lai arrived, we entered the building....
Lai had already booked a court but sadly there was only one available court...
So Lai and me started to play first...
It has been a long time since I last played badminton so I was a bit stiff...
After playing awhile, I slowly got my touch back..
Soon after, Loi came and the Sachin..
We had a problem that time, Lai only brought two shuttlecocks and they were cheap ones..
So we were running out of good shuttlecocks but we continued playing...
Later, Jason Too came and then Soong...
Soong was suppose to bring Kavee but he forgotten...
After playing awhile, the shuttlecocks was in such a bad shape and we needed a new one..
So they took one on the floor from another court...
But that got into a bad shape after a few games too...
In the end, Lai found some good shuttlecocks from the dustbin (LOL XD )
We used it though...
It was a good brand ~Sealion ~
There was so many of it...
We just had to take them...
We played with them despite it being dirty...
After some time, we saw Kavee coming in with his father and his father's friends..
Sachin told me that his father is a badminton player and they go there quite often...
We kept playing and had fun till the last minute...
When we were done, we changed and headed for futsal at Public Star just next door....
I was expecting a fun game of futsal even though I had already played badminton earlier...
We saw them and greeted them excitedly..
I was having some snacks while we were waiting for some of the others to arrive...
Once we had enough players, we entered the court...
We were having fun at first as we all played like how we always do...
Then when the crowd started getting bigger, they decided to break into two and open up two court...
But the problem here was that there would only be 8 players on both court...
They have taken all the ones that knew how to play on one court and does who do not play really well on the other...
I was among does who could not play so well...
I had argued with that fact a little at first and I also said that it is difficult to play a 4v4 match like that...
They did not listen and just went on with it...
So I played on...
As we were playing, I saw the others playing on the other court...
They were playing so seriously like as though it was some bloody competition...
We here on the other court was having fun...
But in the process of playing, I slowly saw them getting bored and playing without any spirit...
It was getting boring and we stopped playing...
Then we started to discuss about what was going on...
Some was not happy with what was happening....
We discussed with them on the other side..
They asked why we were not playing...
I told them again that we came to have fun, run around and laugh...
But that was not what was happening...
Slowly from a discussion it became an argument...
At first it was a rather small argument till I got totally pissed off by what Jason Too said:
"Why you all not playing? Don't tell me you all noob cause if you say that then I'll f*cked you up. I have a good reason to."
That line really crossed it...
"Why you all not playing? Don't tell me you all noob cause if you say that then I'll f*cked you up. I have a good reason to."
That line really crossed it...
It was damn pissed at him that I almost wanted to hit him...
Luckily we were on separate court and there was a net between us otherwise who knows what I would have done...
We broke up the discussion and I discussed with some of them at my court...
I was already angered at that point of time...
Angrily I said:
"We came here to have fun, not to play a bloody tournament. We are not training for a tournament. I came here despite being tired to have fun with friends. Not to be screwed by an ugly idiot like him (Jason Too I mean). I could have easily just stayed at home and be playing games now."
"We came here to have fun, not to play a bloody tournament. We are not training for a tournament. I came here despite being tired to have fun with friends. Not to be screwed by an ugly idiot like him (Jason Too I mean). I could have easily just stayed at home and be playing games now."
I even thanked Lai for inviting me for a fun badminton game before the futsal game...
Then I backed off the group, I was thinking to myself again as I always do when I get angry...
And then, I felt tears rolling down my eye...
It has been a long time since I ever cried from being angry...
And yet I cried again, because of the same fool who always makes me cry from anger....
I really could not hold it back already that time...
But the group then decided this:
"We are going to play for awhile more. We finish up one hour and then we close one court. We will just pay for one hour and go home rather than wasting our time here."
I agreed on that proposal and so we played awhile more till it was 9.30pm....
After that, one court was closed...
Lai, Sachin, Soong, Bryan and myself...
We decided to leave...
We sat at the bench and was discussing what to do...
The rest had entered the court and continued to play again...
We were deciding between playing badminton again, going home, going somewhere to eat or continue playing...
In the end we decided to go to Summer Sports first...
We all took out our share of the pay and gave it to Zafri...
We quietly left the futsal centre without saying bye...
I was the most pissed and sad I guess...
It really was a mood killer...
When we got to Summer Sports, we all finally decided to just go back home and have our rest...
Soong was the first one off as he could drive...
Then Lai went back not long after...
Bryan, Sachin and me...
We were waiting for our parents to arrive..
We sat on the block at the entrance of the badminton centre waiting for our parents...
We were having a chat about what had just happened and some other stuff...
After awhile, my father came and I was off back to my house...
The thing about all this was, I'm not sure who really is at fault actually...
When I got home and thought about it, I felt like I was the cause of all this commotion...
But there were certain events that would have triggered it...
One was what Jason Too had told me..
Two, I was tired and exhausted after such a long day...
Three, it was crowded...
Four, it was not well organised...
And there are many other more reasons...
But today, I have already said sorry to two person...
One was Jeyain and he was cool about it...
The other was Jason Too but despite me apologising, he had instead pissed me off again by saying this:
"You should've put aside your pride and ego and join us"
"You should've put aside your pride and ego and join us"
He actually had the nerve to say this despite being one of the person to start the commotion..
I had said yesterday to Bryan and Sachin that I would slap him on the face if he mentioned about it in school...
But lucky he said it through the Internet or I would have slapped him...
I hope events like this do not happen again anywhere in the future...
I never like arguing or fighting with friends as it would hurt me more than it would them...
So my message here to you readers,
If you can, don't be involved with an argument or fight with a friend...
If you can, don't be involved with an argument or fight with a friend...
It is painful and I really do regret my actions in a way...

Trip to Taylor's Lakeside Campus
Hi readers,
How have you all been??
Well this is my first post since my 100th post...
Its about the trip I went on just this morning...
It was a trip to Taylor's Lakeside College (Its a college/ university by the way)...
The day started off with me waking up at 6.15am ....
I was tired because I slept late the last night but I was aware that I am going on a trip today...
I got ready and packed whatever I wanted to bring along for the trip...
I brought my handphone, my camera (of course XP ) , my PSP, a bottle of water, and of course stationery to write down any important point on the talk later on...
By 7am, I was prepared and set to go to school...
My mum was going to the market with our neighbour so I followed my neighbour to school...
I was there earlier than we were suppose to...
But there already were some of them in school waiting for the teachers and the bus...
We waited until around 8am for everyone to arrive and we got on the bus...
And we were off...
Till we reached Era Square, we stopped and waited for one more student...
We were way off schedule and we had to wait for him...
My friends and I were sitting behind watching some videos or listening to music...
Then the boy came and the clock showed 8.30pm ...
It was going to be a one hour and thirty minutes drive to Taylor's Lakeside Campus ...
And we were off again....
Throughout the trip we were listening to music and watching videos...
I did walk up and down the bus to talk to the others who sat in front....
I even took some photos while we were on the bus...
We got there at around 9.30am...
We were late...
We were suppose to be there by 9am....
One of the Taylor's lecturer, Alice came out to greet us and show us the way....
As all 40 student walked down the path, suddenly....
Everyone took an early turn into the TOILET!!! (Hahahaha!!!!)
Everyone wanted to go the toilet after such a long drive....
After that, we all were lead to lecture room no.2
And as usual, I took photos of the surrounding on the way there...
The lecture room was just amazing...
I never thought that college could be so nice...
While I was taking some photos of the others in the lecture room, they asked us to pass the goodie bags to everyone....
Later, I went in front to sit with Sachin...
Everyone was sitted in the middle row from front all the way to the back whereas me and Sachin sat on the row on the right....
We saw Ashvin again....
He was the same person who did the teambuilding lecture at the beginning of the year...
Since we were all familiar with him, everything was just much more fun...
He promised that the talk would not be boring and it really wasn't...
The theme of today's lecture is:
"We become....
What we think about"
He did many things with us since we were at his college, he could do more things with us...
He started off with asking questions and giving out some goodies...
Then he began his lecture...
He asked who was the most confident person in the room...
Nobody admitted so he asked us to suggest who we think is confident...
And Harish raised his hand suggesting that he is the most confident person in the room...
He was then asked to point out the person who is the most shy....
Lim was pointed out....
So they were called out to stand in front....
And he asked us why we think Harish is confident and after that why we think Lim is shy...
It was funny what happened in between...
He also asked us what are our top three priorities....
He asked some of us and we answered...
He then gave us some quotes from people like Napoleon Hill, James Allen, Henry Ford and also by himself...
Why did he showed us this quotes???
Its because he wanted to give us some examples of how making a statement can make things become a reality...
He told some stories of how repeating the same statement to oneself over and over again can do...
He told us that when writing a statement, it has to be written in present tense as in we do not write:
"I want to be rich"
Instead we write:
"I am rich"
He also mentioned that the statement must be positive....
In the statement is should not be:
"I am not shy"
Instead it should be:
"I am confident"
Others were it has to be personal and specific...
Later, he gave us a S.M.A.R.T. Goal settings (some examples of statements)
(I am not going to state all, I'm just going to state a one as an example)
This is the one he used back then when he was shy according to his story:
"I am an ultra confident outgoing leader"
He used this and in two to three weeks he changed and now he is a happy outgoing lecturer...
He even used to be a DJ in Hitz.FM and some other radio station...
His story was very motivating in my opinion...
If his story were true (which I think is), then we have seen the result of a shy person becoming very outgoing by just reading a statement to ourselves once when we wake up and again before sleeping...
It only takes 2 minutes to read it out to ourselves everyday to make it work...
There were other statement and interesting stories but I'm not going to mention all...
And a certain point, he gave us all a paper to write down what we want to achieve in life, why is it important to us and what daily and weekly habits we will need to have to achieve them...
After that, a few were called out to share their achievement to us...
Everyone who came out talked with confident...
The lecture begins to show some results (so I think :P )
Before ending his lecture, he showed us the 10 Tips to Keep in Motion:
- Just Get Started
- Be Positive
- Be patient (Example : a seed doesn't grow instantly)
- Reward Yourself (small and simple)
- Set Daily Planner (If you fail to set a plan, then you plan to fail)
- Take a risk(Do something that we are not sure of with confidence)
- Is your daily schedule exciting? (Be creative and fun)
- Imagine it and it will come TRUE
- Repetition and hardwork is the key(Never give up and the results will show)
- Read Success Stories (as an inspiration)
After that, he asked if anyone wanted to sing...
Instead some of them danced to Party Rock Anthem...
It was nice but halfway there was a funny incident and we had a great laugh....
Once that was over, Ashvin left the room and handed it over to Alice...
She gave us a lecture about studies after school....
It was suppose to be a boring talk but everyone took interest....
There is not much to say about this so I'm just gonna let it fly...
When it was almost 12pm, the lecture was over and we were given a RM5 voucher for food and RM2 for drinks...
We slowly left the lecture room and headed for the food court...
It was a long way from the lecture room to the food court, so I took some photos of the campus on the way there....
There was a huge lake in the middle of the campus (as the name states "Lakeside Campus" )....
The place was so beautiful...
As we got closer to the path that we were told to follow to reach the food court, we could see many other shops...
There were restaurants, souvenir shops, convenience store, etc.
There were just all kinds of shop on that pathway...
At the end was the food court...
There were only little people at the food court at that time...
We went around to see what is there to eat...
Some of the shops were closed so we have fewer choices...
In the end I decided to have the Grilled chicken chop from the Wild Wild West shop...
But instead they made a mistake and I got the grilled chicken rice...
But it was alright cause I saved some money...
We sat by the barrier where we could enjoy the breeze and the view of the lake...
I sat with Govinash as we both enjoy our grilled chicken rice...
After lunch, Sachin and me walked around the campus sightseeing...
And then Mr.Shan (our teacher in charge/ counselor) told us that we must all be at the bus by 1pm....
Sachin got some extra coupon so we decided to buy some French fries...
But the line at Wild Wild West was long...
Its a good thing that some of our friends were there so we did not have to queue up...
We went around searching for the others to tell them what Mr.Shan told us....
And then we came back and had our tasty French fries...
After that we took a toilet break before getting on the long drive back to Seremban...
The trip back was kind of exciting compare to when we were coming to the campus...
Everyone just seemed a little more excited and there was a more television had something more interesting on, Gulliver's Travel , a movie ....
Again, we at the back were watching videos or listening to music...
I was playing my PSP....
Another thing was everyone was moving about the bus on the way back...
Halfway through the trip home I began moving about as well and taking random photos...
Some of them were tired and sleeping after such a long exciting day....
And soon after we reached school and we all went our ways...
Some went home while some waited for their parents to come...
So at the end of the day I had fun...
The only thing I lost from the many things I brought was my camera casing...
Well at least I did not lose the camera with all the precious memories...
I am glad I went for this trip and I am quite motivated from the lecture...
I even feel a little more confident and took some photos of myself during the trip which I don't normally do....
And I have already began to use the statement...
Whenever I see myself in the mirror I just say to myself:
"I am a good-looking handsome guy"
Much appreciation to Ashvin for that fantastic lecture and to the school counseling teacher for arranging this trip...
I wish to go for more trips like this in future...
Till then readers....
Bye, good night XP

St.Paul Secondary Concert- A Musical Mozart / My 100th post
Hello everyone...
I'm happy to say that this is my official 100th post....
Yippeee!!!!
After 3 years of blogging I have reached my 100th post...
And with it comes a great exciting moment of my life...
My school concert which is called 'A Musical Mozart'...
It was the 8th of July...
You can say that it was teens night...
The concert was only for students not only from my school but also from others...
The concert only begins at 8pm but I was at Terminal 2 around 6pm to wait for Lai and have our dinner...
When he arrived, we discussed on what to eat and finally we went to have our dinner at New Town...
We ordered two plates of Fried chicken chop but instead we got a grilled one...
But who cares, the chicken chop was quite nice compared to other shops I have been too before..
And I tried ice blended chocolate for the first time...
It was just amazing how chocolate sinks into your taste buds through the ice.... AMAZING!!!
After having our meal, I realised that I forgotten to bring my ticket ( LOL!!! XP )
So I decided to call my mum to bring the ticket to me...
Lai and myself, we walked over to the school gate and saw some of the others there...
Lai went in with some of them first while I was waiting outside with Kew for my dad to come and give me the ticket...
Not long after, my dad came and gave me the ticket and I went in together with Kew..
We went to the front seats where the others have already taken a few rows just for our group of friends...
Why in front?? Because we wanted to support all our friends that are performing for the night...
While waiting for the concert to start, we were all busy chatting while I took some photos...
And as soon as the lights went off, the audience went wild and everyone started to shout and scream with excitement...
The Zo'Fonk which consists of Jason Too, Harish Pal, Daryl Luke, Philip Goh and Danesh was the opening act as they made the audience go wild...
Everyone was screaming, shouting, whistling...
Oh it was amazing..
I even shout my heart out...
At the end of their performance, I did as Jason Too asked me to...
I asked my friends who were all seated at the front rows to give him a standing ovation...
We stood up and clapped and shouted like crazy....
Ahhh!!!! It was so fun...
And then we had the 1 Malaysia dance, singing Mandarin songs, a traditional Indian dance...
Then came another performance by my two buddies Syukran Azizi a.k.a Slim-Z and Julian Sebastian....
They were rapping for their performance...
And the rap was just awesome...
Whenever Julian went "Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!" , everyone followed him screaming back the same way...
We even had a Michael Jackson dance...
Everyone was singing along to the song 'Beat It'
After that, we had the violin & piano performance...
I did not enjoy that performance because I knew that it was suppose to be performed by my friends , Lim and Zafri....
But instead the teachers chose them over my friends...
I know that they would have performed better....
Next was the English drama...
This time the drama was a little more interesting compared to the one from the previous concert three years ago in the year 2008 (I think) ....
People enjoyed the music and dance in between the drama...
Pn.Shan really made a drama worth watching...
It was followed up by the exciting modern Indian dance, singing Malay songs.....
Which then finally came to another of my friend's group, Ezra's group...
It was an acoustic band....
They sang the song 1985 and Rhythm of Love ....
The girls all loved it and kept screaming their hearts out....
Ezra went down the stage while singing the Rhythm of Love and moved down the lane to the back where Sonia was seated...
I did not see what she did but Ezra told me that they planned that out already...
After that performance, we had the Hip Hop dance by none other than Nicholas...
He is a great dancer from my school (an ex-student actually) with a little girlish figure...
He can pole dance so what do you think he did for this performance???
His group dance to the song by Pussycat Dolls "When I Grow Up"...
His dance was just amazing and yet again the crowd went wild with the screaming and shouting...
For the next performance, it singing Tamil songs...
Me and my friends did not wanted to watch that performance so we headed out to the toilet for a while and got a little fresh air while we were at it....
Finally came the last and I would say one of the best performance...
It was the MASKED dance by my friend Brendan along with 5 other guys....
The dance was first seen by our school on Teacher's Day...
At that time, he did it with only himself and Russell...
The performance was a mixture of a few songs and it was just amazing....
When Party Rock Anthem was played, the guys on stage clapped their hands asking us to join them...
I saw no one joining in so I decided to stand and clapped along with them to the beat of the song....
And I got everyone else sitting at the back to stand and clap along...
It was an amazing view to see people standing up one by one and joining in the fun....
Ahhh!!! Yes, the performance got the wildest reaction from the crowd...
Everyone loved it...
At the end everyone stood up and gave them a standing ovation with screaming and shouting...
My friends and I even started to shout out Brendan's name...
We went " Brendan, Brendan, Brendan"
And finally all the performance came to an end...
Then the host came out to announce the best performance of the day...
And guess what???
They chose the worse among them...
The 1 Malaysia dance and the modern Indian dance (The modern Indian dance was ok but still)..
They could have chosen the final performance which got everyone standing and cheering...
Not a boring performance where everyone did not really enjoy...
My group even went on and did our signature move which is "Boo sama dia!!!"
Tiness which was a friend of ours who shifted school was there and he went "Boo sama dia!!"
And we all followed saying "Boo!!!"
And when everyone was noisy I shouted "Who's the judge??" out loud...
At that very moment everyone was quiet and they all heard me...
The ones sitting in front turned back to look ...
My friends and I were all laughing like crazy....
Well, I did not get caught for that so it was all great and fun...
Then they said there is a surprise performance...
Guess what?? It was the 1 Malaysia dance with teachers dancing along this time...
No surprise for me...
We all went out because we did not wanted to watch that performance...
I caught up with all my other friends who came after the concert...
Well, the concert was awesome and it really is perfect seeing that everyone is stressed up from studies...
For me, it was an awesome time to spend together with friends...
And I also realise that cheering for others is as exciting as being cheered...
At the end of the day, I took a group photo outside of school and then I headed for supper with my family...

Lai's 17th Birthday Celebration
The 4th of July...
This is not only the national day for the US of A...
It is also the birthday of a good friend of mine, Lai Choon Kiat...
All his life, he hardly celebrates his birthday...
Unlike myself, my family celebrate each and every birthday...
Anyways, when we planned for this celebration, I could see this smile on Lai's face which I have never seen before...
It was a smile from within..
He was rather overjoyed that there are people who actually want to celebrate the anniversary of his birth...
Anyways, after all the planning and change of plans...
We finally ended up in Pizza Italia...
I was the first one there just around 10 minutes to 7pm...
We planned to gather there at 7pm but I waited for some time and there was no one to be seen..
After a while, I saw a black car stopping in a weird position..
I was sure that the driver is looking for a place...
After a while, I moved and stand on the road to check it out and the car came towards my direction...
To my amaze it was one of my friend, Soong...
He was driving already... (Wow >.< )
At the same time, Bryan arrived...
Not long after, Chew Joon Nick came...
It was the four of us now...
The place was booked for 17 people... (Thats a lot)
After chit chatting for a while, we decided to get a cake for Lai...
So Bryan, Soong and myself, we went to Jusco to get a cake...
Soong drove us there and it was a heck of a scary ride.... (Haha =D )
We got a chocolate cake from Secret Recipe for RM75....
And on it was written ' Happy Birthday LOL :) ' (Specially written words... Haha XD )
With the cake we returned to Pizza Italia, and the rest of them have already arrived...
Alex, Harinder, Vijaya, Lim and of course the birthday boy, Lai...
We gave to be refrigerated while we enjoy our meal....
Three pizzas were ordered along with our personal add-ons...
I ordered a plate of Pollo Lasagna and I gave a portion of it to Soong, Lim, Vijaya and Harinder to let them try it out...
And guess what, they all loved it...
Alex and me had our bottle of beer...
He had his Ludwig while I had a bottle of Hoegarden....
We ate, we chat, we laughed...
It was all fun...
After having our dinner, we asked for the cake...
As the workers there were very nice and provide great customer service, they served the cake for us instead (Wow!!! )
They even gave us plates and forks...
What more the cake is our own and they actually served it for us... (Awesome service)
We sang a birthday song for Lai and the look on his face is no different to that of a happy little boy celebrating his birthday...
Speaking of little boy, while we were enjoying our cake, one of the worker asked us to join in to sing a birthday song for a small little boy...
We sang our hearts out for that boy and it really made all the different for him...
He was excited..
Like I say, the face of that boy looked exactly like how Lai was...
Its because when people celebrate something for you, they are honoring you in a way and it makes u happy deep within...
We laughed off like mad the till around 9pm + and finally we all went to Jusco as planned to catch a movie...
Some followed Chew's mum while the rest followed Soong...
And again I went for a heck of a ride...
We reached there a little later then those who followed Chew's mum...
Jusco was packed so we had to go up the rooftop to find a place to park....
We went down to meet up with the others...
We wanted to watch transformer 3 the dark of the moon...
But they were sold out..
So we decided to watch Monte Carlo...
But there was only 4 tickets left and there were 9 of us...
All the movies were fully booked except 'Rasuk' which we do not want to watch...
So we went out of the cinema and discussed what to do...
We were deciding between Karaoke or Bowling...
In the end we chose bowling because karaoke that night was RM42++ per person...
It was to expensive and we were all like half broke already...
So some of us bowled while the others played pool...
We bowled and had fun...
There was even a problem where the bowling ball got stuck in the drain because the machine closed the path half way....
And we did something stupid by continuously bowling other ball to clear the drain...
It was stupid because everytime one of it goes in, the other gets stuck..
And finally Alex walked down the lane and pushed the ball in...
We all bowled for two games and then we headed home...
I followed Soong back along with Alex and Lim...
It was yet again a heck of a ride home...
So in the end of the day I had fun and I went home with a sore thumb...
Another great day spent with friends and hopefully stuff like this becomes a little more frequent for me in the future...
Thank God for friends that gives me so much of fun...
And to Lai, Happy Birthday again...

The Excitement of Being Cheered / Historical school event
Today is both a historical and exciting day for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St.Paul (SPI)...
SPI has made history for being the first school in the country and in Negeri Sembilan to be handed the Maybank account book for the recycling project...
A ceremony was held to celebrate this and officially starting this project...
Well respected guest came for this event and so did RTM2 (a.k.a TV2) ....
As usual there were many speeches and finally it was officiated with a symbolic event...
The guest of honor is handed a bunch of newspaper to be weighed and is given money...
This event symbolises the actual event of the students bringing in recyclable objects and being given money..
After that, the principal and the honored guest went down to have a press conference...
The link to the news about this event is :
And the students went back to class...
Later in the afternoon,
We had the lucky draw for the concert tickets that has been sold...
My class , 5 Anselm, has sold the most amount of ticket according to statistics amounting to RM2030.00 while all the other classes have not even achieved above RM1000.00
Because of that I expected that most of the draws will be students from my class....
Me and my friends were getting excited outside of the science lab...
All around the students were standing waiting for the lucky draw to begin...
With my friends, I was acting like my name was being called...
Then, one of my friends came telling me that I have to represent my a classmate to take his prize for being a person who has collected a donation above RM500.00
So I ran across the assembly yard from the science lab and the whole school went wild when they saw me...
They started shouting, whistling and clapping...
I was running down the lane waving my hands and giving out flying kisses ( hehe... )
When I got up to the stage, the teachers were laughing too...
And jokingly, the principal was holding the prize which is a umbrella saying :
"I hit your head then you know" (laughing)
And while walking back to my place everyone continued cheering...
From afar my friends ask me to open the umbrella to show off the prize...
And I did it while walking like a model...
It was so fun...
But the fun did not end there...
As how I acted out earlier where my name was being called, it really happened...
The first draw was my name...
So again I ran across the assembly yard with all the students cheering and clapping....
I ran down the lane again feeling much more excited....
And when I got there one of the teacher said with laughing :
"Looks like it wasn't a waste for you representing your classmate. It was like a practice for you"
Well, what I'm trying to imply is...
The feeling of being cheered on...
It is a very amazing feeling...
It feels like everybody is encouraging you and giving you some sort of energy...
Now I know how it feels when stars or national players are being cheered by the crowd...
It really gives that amazing energy to a person...
Wow... I really hope that in the future I can experience more events like this where I'm being cheered by many...
And to you my readers, I hope you all do your best in life and let everyone cheer you on for who you are, not for who you are not....

Falling and rising
Have you ever felt like sometimes life keeps bringing you down??
Do you not know what to do at times???
Do you need help???
Fear not for I am about to share my experience and what I did to make it better....
It was the past few days...
We, the confirmation group students (actually confirmed students), had a car wash that has been planned for some time...
But in this there were some unseen events or actually disasters...
One was on Saturday where my friend reversed the car without realising that a chair was there...
So he hit the chair and the car number plate broke, but that was all just a small case...
It was the second day that was the real killer...
I am in charge for the 2nd day of the car wash since my teacher has not gone for Mass and I already had, I took over....
So I woke up early and arrived at church by around 6.30am....
I was moving around busy getting things prepared for the car wash by myself...
Then suddenly I saw a flash in the sky and was afraid that it would rain...
Well since it was Sunday and I made my obligation to go to the prayer room every Sunday, so I went to the prayer room to say my daily prayer and asked for a good weather and that the car wash goes well....
Slowly the time came....
The rest of them arrived and the car wash started...
Everything seemed fine at first, till something happened...
I was at the back of the line busy leading the two drivers, Luke and Joseph, to park the cars after we were done with it....
But all of a sudden I heard a sound of a car crashing into something....
It nearly gave me a heart attack...
I was so terrified when I turned and saw a car crashed into the wall...
It was none of than Sonia's aunt car...
Her aunt had already said to be careful with her car...
And knowing me, I went there with a lot going in my head.....
I went to find out what had happened...
To my amazement, one of them drove the car without permission.... It was Aaron...
We already had people in charge for driving but he took the car and tried to move it by himself despite being told not to by the few of them...
Then I asked Luke to take the car around and park it at the back....
I started questioning my friend about it....
Sonia was so upset with what had happened and Aaron was feeling scared and guilty...
Sonia started crying not knowing how her aunt would react....
So then things went on....
More and more people came to know about it and finally the higher authorities (sister, teacher Elizabeth, our cathechism teacher) came to solve the problem....
I had a phone call from my teacher who was not around and he asked me what had happened...
I explained and he told me what to do...
We had to stop the car wash and not take in anymore car....
I was frustrated and things got worst from there on....
After much discussion with Sonia's aunt, teacher Elizabeth asked who was the head, in charge of it all, so I raised my head and went to the car....
I was about to explain to Sonia's aunt till I was stopped....
I was actually feeling responsible and scared.....
I was on mixed emotions already....
Then, teacher Elizabeth said, there is no need for explanations....
Sonia's aunt said it was okay and sometimes things just happen....
I was feeling okay at first...
Then, one of my friend called for me....
The uncle who wanted to leave at 8.30am told me off when his car was still being washed...
I told him I had already asked my friends to wash his car but he did not believed me and said "You've forgotten" in quite a fierce way....
It then started to get to me....
On the my way to the counter, I was stopped by teacher Elizabeth and she said something like this "Jason, I did not asked for you to give an explanation. All I wanted was for you to just apologise to the aunty."
She said it in a disappointed tone....
Then, I was already confused and my emotions were getting unstable....
After a while of thinking to myself with a lot of people asking questions, I felt a tear rolling down my cheek....
I was crying already....
I couldn't take it anymore...
At that moment I was talking to someone and I started to try and walk away...
I didn't wanted anyone to see me cry....
My friend who was talking to me realised that I was crying and kept asking "Eh, you okay or not?? "
I said I'm okay and walked away...
Later a few of them came and asked also "Hey Jason, you okay or not?? "
I couldn't stand it anymore I got angry and kept smashing onto the pillar and I broke down...
Ezra, Gilbert.... I felt so bad...
They were there watching as I broke down in tears....
I walked into the hall and sat down on the chair....
Ezra was there trying to comfort me he kept saying "Jason don't like this la"
They all came one by one trying to comfort me....
Even Aaron came and keep apologising but I said "Its ok don't worry "
I kept asking myself in sadness "Why did this happened?? I prayed to you God. How could you let this happened??"
I was angry and sad.... Disappointed.... I started to doubt Him and I questioned him...
I shouldn't have....
After a while I stopped and went out, I sat with the rest in front of that car...
I saw those dent and scratches with the front bumper hanging on one side....
My teacher had finally arrived...
He started saying something which I don't remember and suddenly I couldn't control it....
My tears came down again....
I cried for the second time...
The others who did not know that I cried earlier saw me and they kept asking "Jason why are you crying?? "
Truthfully, most of them thought I cried because of the car incident....
But no it wasn't ....
The truth is that I felt disappointed with myself....
I never ever blame others for something that happens....
I felt that I have let everyone down with poor management....
I felt that I should have been there so I could have stopped him....
I felt that I should organise when to wash which car first and next....
I felt that I should not have been busy at the back and trust them enough to move the cars properly....
I was scared, sad, angry, disappointed....
All the bad feelings that a man could ever feel....
This was our 'fall', not only me but the whole crew there....
But by this 'fall' we had learnt a great lesson and received a good experience....
Through this, I have realised so much more how much everyone cared for me....
Every single one of them was there to comfort me.... I felt so bad that I made that worry...
It was a unexplainable feeling when someone tries to comfort you....
Its just magical...
Later after that, I stopped crying and was relaxed....
I raised my head and saw the others continuing to wash the cars that was already left for us to wash....
I saw some of them who had just arrived....
They were having fun....
So I put myself together and started to take charge again...
I went to them and everyone started to play with water....
Everyone was getting wet...
We were spraying water at one another....
It changed from the car wash which was serious at first into a fun 'human' wash instead....
Everyone was so happy and showing a smile that comes from the heart....
Everyone got wet, so did I ....
We kept playing with water and it was a real stress reliever....
This was the 'rise' of our 'fall' .....
After all the fun with water, we got changed and ready for class...
The class for that day, answered all my doubt and question to God....
Through my teacher, God has spoken to me indirectly...
What my teacher said about this being a great lesson and a good experience was to true....
God had challenged all of us...
I wasn't the only one....
He wanted us to know how hard life can be and we should be strong when we are doing His works....
The car crashing might had been the work of evil powers like my teacher said and I think God has made things right so it changes into an experience....
Then it came to my mind when teacher asked us to tell the class our experience....
I think that this was all similar to the death and resurrection of Jesus....
Like how it is said in the Way of the Cross book....
When we make a mistake, and we learn from it, it is the small death and resurrection in our lives....
I said to my classmates "We should never blame others for something that happened. We can only blame ourselves for it. It is because when we blame another person, there is no one who can comfort him except you. But if we blame ourselves, everyone around us can make us feel better."
And I meant it....
I also said "Only by falling in life, can we then rise again to experience the greater joy of rising. So it is better for us to fall then to never fall. Otherwise we would never be able to experience the joy of rising"
Like how from that sad incident it all changed into a fun,wet time together......
So my dear readers, we should never ever doubt God and always have faith in Him...
We should go through life challenges with a clear mind and heart...
Not forgetting a strong will in prayer...
It does not matter who we are, Christian or not....
Prayer is one of the powerful weapon a person has in life....
And last of all, do not be afraid to fall, just be ready to rise again with that whole new greater feeling....
Thanks a lot for reading and sorry for writing this extremely long post....
Till next time ^^

Confirmation , The 7th of May
It is the 7th of May...
A day that we have been waiting for ages....
The day of Confirmation...
It all started with me being late...
I was suppose to be there by around 5pm but I was late due to unseen circumstances...
But on my arrival everyone was still in the hall and they were pass schedule too...
I entered with a sigh of relieve and went to register myself...
I was amazed with how beautiful all the girls looked and how handsome all the guys were...
Plus everyone was in white which makes it such a beautiful sight...
We were arranged and then taken to the front for a group photo under the blazing sun (But we all got 'hotter' after confirmation... haha XD )
The archbishop, Archbishop Murphy Pakiam (I hope I spelled his name right >.< ), entered first and we followed his back...
After bowing he took our seats....
Mass went on.... blah blah blah....
And then we reached the important part of the celebration....
The placing of the chrism on the forehead of the confirmants...
When it was my turn, I went forward and bowed...
Then I went forward, the archbishop placed his hand on my shoulder and he looked at my name tag and said "Angelo" in a rough but gentle kind of way...
Then, he said " Be sealed with the Holy Spirit" (or something like that) while placing the chrism in a shape of a cross on my forehead...
After that, he placed his hand on my shoulder again and said "Peace be with you" slowly...
A kind of joy that I can explain was felt when he said that...
After that everything went on as usual, and then finally Mass ended...
The most enjoying part came along...
We took another group photo on the altar with the archbishop and cameras were flashing all around....
They were like paparazzi's while we were like superstars ....
It was an awesome (but pain to the eye) feeling...
After the photo shoot was over, everyone went around congratulating each other and give hugs...
I went around giving hugs to most people (I wished I could hug everyone though)
Everyone was still posing around for the cameras... haha :P
It was wonderful how happy everyone seemed.... It was an unforgettable experience...
Though it was just a Mass we had fun....
Everyone sang from the bottom of their heart and praised God with joy...
I have never heard such a lively Mass before...
Sometimes I wish we could always be like that but time will come when we have to go our own ways...
Until Stephanie came up with the most wonderful idea that even I never thought of...
We have decided that we will make it a point to meet up every year on the 7th of May...
And I hope that every year we can always see that smile on everyone's face....
Praise the Lord ^^

A whole week of Chinese New Year fun
Happy Chinese New Year readers..
I'm sorry for not blogging so much lately...
Have been busy..
Well its already a week away from the Chinese New Year holiday week but I'm gonna blog about what I did anyways...
We had one whole week of holidays for Chinese New Year..
I was invited to my friends house for almost every single day...
So this is what I did (It's long as usual)
The first house on Monday (Alex's house)
It was a Monday morning, I woke up early and had my breakfast. I got prepared to go to Alex's house and left early because my mother is sending my brother to college on the way. It has been raining since three days ago and it was still raining that morning. My mum dropped my off at the bus stop near the Domino's Pizza. I took my X-box 360 along. Yi Min and Bryan Han was already waiting there for me to arrive. Alex did not want us to go to his house too early. It was around 9+ in the morning. So the three of us went to a Chinese shop to 'Yam Cha' first. We sit there for a while then decided to go over to the mamak stall to have breakfast.(They did) We sat there for some time until after 10. We were supposed to buy some pizzas from Domino before going to Alex's house. But Domino only opens at 11am so we decided to walk to Alex's house first. We arrived there after a 15 minute walk. Alex has two dogs, Casper and Phoebe(I think thats how its spelled). Casper was fierce but Phoebe was adorable >.< . Okay so we went to Alex's room and chit chat for a while. Then we decided to use the X-box I brought just to realise, I have forgotten to bring the most important thing... THE BOOT DISC!!! After all the commotion I decided to go to Terminal 1 to buy a new one.(Becuase my mum did not want to bring it for me -.- ) I went there along with Yi Min. It was a half an hour walk there from Alex's house. We could not get the boot disc because there we no more stocks. We bought some snacks, orange juice and cranberry juice as Alex requested before taking a taxi to get back to Domino. We waited for a while to receive our order. Then... We walked back to Alex's house with 7 pizzas all placed in one plastic bag!!! I had to hold it with both my hands wide apart. I looked like a fool walking on the road with it. Every car we passed by, the driver stared at me. A lorry driver that passed by even said
" Wah, that's a lot of pizzas. " When we got back we had our lunch. We played Alex's PS3 instead. Then the guests(all our friends) came one by one as time went by. After some time Jason Too came and we started gambling (Chinese tradition). While gambling I was having a glass of red wine which was very dry and kinda strong. It was 13.5% alcohol. I got a headache after that. I had fun playing Call of Duty: Black Ops with Vijay, Adrian, Jason Too and Lai. It was an awesome game we played that day. We played for so long.
Then, we played this game called Little Big Planet 2. That game was so fun. We laughed so much playing that game. And so the day went by. We had pizza again for dinner (Pizza Hut this time) and I stayed there till around 10.30 pm . Harish, Jason Too, Philip and Jerome stayed over at his place. It was a fun day.
The second house on Tuesday (Philip's house)
I went to Philip's house at around 5pm . I was the first one there (Not what Philip expected). We were having a potluck dinner that day. I brought egg sandwiches . And yet another house with a dog. The name was Fifi. The moment I entered his house, his dog was stalking me everywhere I go.(P.S. I am afraid of dogs a little) At first I was a bit scared of it, later I was playing and talking with it... Hehe XD . Philip was tired when I got there because he and the rest slept late last night at Alex's place. Since I was there early, he asked whether I wanted to use his computer but I decided to watch television. Black Butler at 5.30pm and Oh! My School (A Korean variety programme) at 6. While I was watching tv, Lim came with a carton of Coca-Cola. I continued watching tv with him while having a chat. Then Philip gave us a packet of Double Decker to share. His dog was jumping on us and barking trying to get it from us. To avoid that we hid the pack behind of us and ate like that... Haha XD . At around 7+ , some of the others started to come. By 8 o'clock almost everyone had arrived. We were gather outside around the table to mix the 'Yee Sang' first as a Chinese tradition for good luck. We had fun doing it because we were all teenagers and it got messy... Haha XD . After that we had our dinner with all the delicious food brought by everyone set on the table. With some music on using Daryl's laptop (I think it was his laptop) with Harish's stereos, we chit chat and enjoyed our meal. After eating, I challenged some of them around me to a competition. It was one of my favourite which was who can put their hand in the ice box for the longest time. I really enjoyed doing that whenever there is an ice box around. A few people accepted my challenge and the one's that lasted the longest of course is me and Lai. During the competition, my hand was starting to freeze but I did not give up, so I took my first ever can of beer that night to warm me up. Alex said "You always ask me not to drink so much but you opened the first can of beer?" Haha.... He was right about that. We lasted for around 4 minutes and then when we decided to take our hands out at the same time, Lai tricked me and I lost. I gave him RM1 (which Loi gave to me earlier) . After all that, it was time to gamble inside the house. We gambled for around an hour. We had ice-creams with whipped cream and chocolate too. Alex did his with beer. Before the real fun really began, my dad called. He said he was around and is going to pick me up. It was merely 10.30pm and I was the first to go back. What a waste >.<
The third house on Thursday, First day of Chinese New Year (Lim's house)
I left my home at 7pm. Again I brought my X-box 360 because Sachin and Vijaya asked me to. When I arrived, Sachin, Vijaya and Joeyee was already there. I placed my X-box on the floor beside the living room table. I had a chat with Vijaya and Sachin outside while waiting for the rest to arrive. When Gerard, See and Kew arrived, we went into the room to fix the X-box on the television. We play Naruto first and then Fifa 2011. While we were playin Lai came. After that I left Sachin, Vijaya and Lim's little brother to play with the Xbox while I headed to Lim's room. They were already started to gamble when I entered. I joined in as usual XD . We were gambling while the girls were using his computer. After some time I started feeling hungry (never expected there to be no food to eat. Lucky I ate a little before coming) , so I asked for a drink. After gambling for some time, Vijaya father came and he went home. We decided to stop for a while. Sachin had already went back while we were gambling. Not long after, we started gambling again. Because we were losing to the dealer (See Soon Yang), we used a different decks of card (Philip's cards) and gamble at a different place (the dining room). We said it was to change the luck (feng shui.... hehe XD) . And guess what?? It really helped and See who won RM150 earlier lost RM160. It was gonna be 12 midnight. Slowly we started heading home. I was the last to go back that night. It was another fun night chatting while gambling. I was invited to Joeyee's house the next day (It can be consider making a new friend that night) .
The fourth house on Friday, Second day of Chinese New Year (Joeyee's house)
It is the second day of Chinese New Year so I had to go to my mother's side of the family for gathering as usual. I ate like crazy for lunch XP because they were all so tasty. I got a lot of 'ang pow' too XD . After that my dad decided to go to KL where my father's side of the family is gathered at my cousin Danny's house.
I slept the whole way. We were lost finding his house. Soon after we found it. I did not wanted to go there at first. But I had fun there meeting up with my relatives. We had steamboat. I was using my cousin's computer after that. At around 6pm we headed back home to Seremban to have our dinner at my grandpa's house. After dinner, I left for Joeyee's house at 8pm. Boy was the house big. I was shocked when she said that I could have gone in from the other gate on the side. I was like "OMG!!! Got another gate on the side??" . It was a double level house. Some of there who where there were watching tv downstairs. As usual we had a chat while watching tv. Not so long after the guests started to arrive. We began gambling . Joeyee's dad sponsored money to her for banking (RM50 OMG!!! XD). Instead of playing 21 (blackjack) today we played a game called 'Ngau' . Lai explained to me how this game worked. Joevin (Joeyee's brother) did some dealing too. After a while we went to a table in the kitchen and played against Joeyee's father. His father was pro. He won us like crazy with doubles. It was the first time in the week I started losing money a little. After everyone lose a quite a sum of money, we stopped and moved on to play blackjack at a different spot. That small group did not lasted long. Joeyee asked us to combine with the girls in a room with a table there. Sean was the dealer this time. We played very long there. Sean lost a lot of money and finally Joeyee took over and became the dealer. But thanks to Sean losing so much I got back my 'modal' that I lost earlier. Then, Joeyee's mum came by. She took over for just one turn and she was so good at it. She could tell whether we burst or not. Both of her parents were very good at gambling. Half way while gambling her mum came with a basket full of 'ang pow' and gave out. We laughed and played like crazy that night. We had lots of fun. We gambled until past midnight and did not realise the time. My dad called and said he was outside. Everyone's parents we waiting and we rushed out. There were still some of them there. I made quite a number of friends that night.
So that is what I did throughout the week.
I had lots of fun and made some new friends.
Me and my friends don't usually gamble but only do it for Chinese New Year.
'Its once a year' we keep saying.
Win or lose we had lots of fun and laughs.
I started to enjoy beer a little but I'm not addicted to it .... Haha XD
Chinese New Year is fun.
I got a hell lot of 'ang pow' .
With the 'ang pow' money and the money I won while gambling I made RM200 that week.
I wish we can always have fun like this every year and in other occasions too.
I'm sorry for not blogging so much lately...
