Paintball trip with friends

Hello readers,
Today I'm gonna tell you about my paintball trip with my friends.
It was just two days ago (8th of December) and I'm still hyped up about that day.

So I woke up early..
It was 6.30 a.m. ....
Most people would be asleep at this time considering that exam is over..
But I woke up early because we had to meet up at the train station by 8am ...
So I got prepared and left my home at 7.30am ..
On the way there I was messaging Bryan and he asked me to hurry up...
When I arrived there, some of them were there already..
So we chit chat while waiting for the others..
Suddenly I felt like going to the toilet..
I've been purging since I woke up and my mother told me in the morning that the veggie in the soup she gave me last night was meant to clear the pathway of my excretory system to make me purge...
What the hell!!?? And of all time she gave it to me the day before I wanted to go for paintball..
So I went to the toilet and did my business...
When I came back out, some more of them had arrive...
Soon everyone had arrive EXCEPT the organiser, Philip...
We were suppose to meet by 8am but he only arrived when it was almost 9am...
So everybody was there...
Lai, Vijaya, Bryan, Jeyain, Philip, Adrian, Vijay, Loi, Kavee, Brendan, Khoo and me.
Jason Too and Danesh said they would come by themselves later..
Along with us were Alex and Jerome who wanted to go to Central...
We even saw Judy with her friends at the station as well...

So we went to get our tickets..
We bought a two-way ticket from Seremban to Midvalley and back...
We were on time as the train arrived the moment we went to wait for it...
This is considered my first time officially on a train because the last time was when I was still small where I slept the whole way...
So this is a new experience for me..
Everyone was rushing into the train while I slowly walked in...
Then only I realised why...
Some of my friends got to sit while some of us had to stand...
At every stop, more and more people came in..
It was about an hour trip to Midvalley...
We were all chit chatting while waiting to reach our destination..
I stand the whole way there...
Sooner it got more stuffier as there were too many people in the train...
Finally we arrived...
We got off and stretched a little...
The Jerome and Alex came out..
We were wondering why...
Jerome made a mistake...
While buying the tickets for the rest of us to Midvalley, he accidentally bought the same place for himself...
Because of that Alex had no choice but to follow us to Midvalley...

So we crossed the overhead bridge into Mid Valley...
Moving as a group, we walked towards the food court...
I did not know, I just followed ... haha XD
On the way to the food court, I saw a lot of beautiful Christmas decorations around..
I was especially amazed by the maze like decoration in the middle...
It was so beautiful...
So we reached the food court after walking for a while..
Everyone moved around to see what they wanted to eat...
Again we saw Judy there sitting alone waiting for her friends to get the food...
We talked to her a bit and soon we all got our food and started eating...
So that was our breakfast...
After breakfast, we decided to walk around...
In front of the group was Vijaya...
He was insisting on going to watch a movie but most of us did not wanted to...
So while he was walking towards the cinema theater, we quietly made a turn while he was not looking...
It was so funny how he walked so blindly and did not even realised we were not there...
We laughed looking at how he only realised we were missing after some time...
So we entered a sports shop and was looking around..
I decided to go and get Vijaya along with Alex before he panics and get lost...
Soon after, we all went to play at the arcade...
We played for quite long before going out...

Then we split into small groups and moved around..
I was with Lai and Vijaya (the F.A.T members) ....
We moved around without a clue of what to do...
So we went into the bowling place..
Vijaya again insisted on bowling this time..
But Lai and me did not wanted to...
After walking around for some time, we decided to go have our lunch over at McDonald...
It was around 1pm that time...
So we queued up...
After getting our order, we could not find any place to sit..
The place was packed...
So we decided to stand around getting ready to grab a place the moment there is one..
After waiting for some time, we finally got one..
When we were done eating, Kavee, Brendan, Adrian and Vijay came along..
They were lucky we were there..
Otherwise they would not have a place to sit..
Vijaya, Lai and me went to the toilet before we go to our next destination which is the paintball park...
After eating, we went to the arcade again for a little while to pass the time..
By the time it was around 2.30pm, we were all gathered at the train station..
We had a chat while waiting for the train to arrive...
So the train finally arrived...
Soon we were at Bandar Tasik Selatan...
From there, we took the LRT to Bukit Jalil...
It was raining...
We were afraid that we might not be able to go for paintball if it continues to rain...
Nevertheless, we walked towards the paintball park..
We had no idea where it was so we asked for directions..
After walking blindly without a clue where it was for some time, we finally found it..

So we entered the place, but there was nobody there...
Or so it seems..
They were behind the barricade..
So Philip, the organiser, went to discuss with the people about the paintball game..
At first they did not wanted to let us play because of the rain..
But the rain started to slow down so they finally decided to let us play... YAY~~!! =D
So we all got changed and prepared while waiting for the briefing to begin..
Funny thing was, the person who gave the briefing had the same name as our Prime Minister..
Encik Najib... Haha XD
So he gave us the interesting briefing and we were ready to go after that..
We were wearing our safety gears while waiting for them to fill up the guns with bullets...
Once we were comfortable with the gears, we were ready to go..
We split into two team..

Team A - Philip, Bryan, Vijay, Loi, Lai, Brendan and me
Team B - Jason Too, Vijaya, Danesh, Khoo, Jeyain, Adrian and Kavee

So the battle begin..
The battlefield was known as the Mayhem Zone..
It was well designed..
Our  mission :

  1. Take down two of the enemies bottle.
  2. Take both the flags back to home base.
That was level one.
In level two there was an extra mission:

  • After taking both flags back to home base, enter the bunker and grab the last flag to win.
So the first round was rather like a test run..
Later on, everyone started to get better at aiming and all..
My team, Team A, was more well strategised compare to Team B in my opinion..
Among everyone, I was the only one who actually ran the bunker..
It was a scary yet exciting dash across the lane to get to the bunker..
You could see bullets flying through while you run..
WOW~~~!!! Such an amazing experience..
Between each battle, we were given a chance to rest up while they refill our guns with bullets..
In the battle, we had infinite lives,  but we had to return to home base everytime we get shot...
And getting shot by the paintball bullet was no joke..
Imagine a bullet moving as fast as a car flying straight at you..
The moment I got hit... OUCH~~!! Instant bruise..
And can you imagine, Lai got hit straight on his neck...
He collapsed in front of my eyes because of the sudden pain..
He missed the last two battles because of that..
But over all, I can summarise it as a painful, tiring but fun experience...
Everyone had mud all over after the game..
We took a group photo and then we got changed...

So the paintball experience ended...
We rested for a bit and then we headed off back to the LRT station..
Took the LRT back to Bandar Tasik Selatan to get on the train back to Seremban..
The station was packed because it was the time when everyone would be heading back home..
We missed the first train because we were waiting for Philip..
So we waited for another about 15 minutes for the next train..
And can you believe that we were all sitting on the floor because there was no place to sit..
Haha XD
It was a funny sight..
Everyone was tired from such a long day..
So the train finally arrived..
We had to stand but we all got a seat just about 2 to 3 stops from there..
It was a long journey back...
We got back rather late, like about 10pm or so...
We then went to A&W to have our dinner...

So our day ended like that..
Such a long day but such a memorable one..
I look forward to more fun time with my friends..
Till next time readers..
Take care..

SPM is finally over!!!

Hello dear readers,
How have you been??
Its been quite some time since I last posted..
Since the 14th of November which was the first day of my SPM exam..
It has already been a few day since it ended (5th of December)

I'm gonna summarise how each of my paper was here...
The papers by sequence is:

Bahasa Malaysia - Was okay. I wrote a rather nice essay and I managed to answer one peribahasa question for once =D
English - Couldn't get any easier. Wrote about the best things being free for essay.
Sejarah- Must be the easiest Sejarah paper I've ever sat for. Best question >> They give us the lyrics of our National Anthem and ask "Namakan lagu di atas." OMGBBQ!!! XD
Modern Maths - So easy I feel I can get 100 (but I know I won't already =O )
Moral - Did like how I usually do and I think I can get an A for this subject =D
Additional Maths- A paper with quality at least. Not too easy, not too hard. But as usual I can answer the questions. Ironically, I did one of the question I wanted to avoid >o<
Physics- Was not too bad. I'm glad I actually studied the last chapter for Form 5 cause it helped me to answer some questions. And I learnt how a nuclear bomb works while I was at it >.<
Chemistry- It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. But according to my friends, it is one of the hardest paper for SPM standards for the past year. And all this while I'm no good at Chemistry. Just imagine =O
Biology- Never liked it (thought its interesting) and just managed to do the paper more than usual. Regretted not studying inheritance =(

And last but not least,
Accounts- The only paper I'm not too confident about after finishing. Make a big blunder. Just hoping I'll get an 'A-' at least.

So look forward to seeing my results readers..
Till my next post..
Bye

Just for your information..

Dear readers,
I'm sorry that it took me so long to finally update my blog...
I had my reasons and was rather busy with studies and gaming...
I just did a quick update and still have two other old events that I really want to share about...
But since my SPM (public exam) is around the corner, I may be rather busy...
So I'll try to update whatever I can whenever I can...
So please do bear with me...
I'm sure to keep you all updated about my exam as well..
Till then readers...
Take care...

When talking to God...

Just today I met with danger...
And on this same day, I went to church for a reading practice...
Just hours before that, I almost met with a car accident...
I could have landed up on a hospital bed or worse but instead I was in church attending my reading practice...

And so I headed for church...
My mother drove this time...
Still a troubled by the incident in the afternoon, I sat in the car quietly...
So we reached church after a few minutes drive...
I went to the toilet and then entered the church...
There were some others there to attend for the reading practice...
So I entered the church and took a seat...
I waited for Aunty Mary Rajoo as she was dealing with someone else's reading...
So as I was seated alone there alone, I decided to pray to God...
I follow my usual sequence of prayer and finally came to the last part...
I thanked Him most of all that I could even be there in the first place to talk to Him...
I had a talk with God...

The talk was about how I felt earlier this afternoon...
About how scared I was...
About how useless I felt..
About feeling not unique...
About the tears that I shed...
About wanting to quit..
About doing something with all my enthusiasm and confidence...
About driving...
Do I really feel that way???
Do I really hate driving??
The answer is....
It is up to me to decide...
It is not fixed...
That is what is so awesome about it...
And I've decided that is not how I really feel...
I do not hate driving...
It is something I've been waiting for a long time to do...
I'm not going to let that incident though dangerous to break my spirit...
I want to be greater than that...
I shed those tears for a reason...
So I will be more careful when driving from now on...
Full attention in everything I do...

But the thing is, I could have said that earlier but why now??
The funny thing about talking to God is....
You do not hear a voice replying to you..
But does that mean he is not talking to you??
Of course not, there was this feeling...
And then, when I read the bible reading...
Coincidentally, the reading was like God's advice to me..
And then I felt this warm feeling in me...
I knew that God was with me the whole time...
He was actually the one who called to me when I almost made a mistake on the road...
He held my hand together when I controlled the steering wheel..
I realised that it really is important that I pray every time I'm about to drive..
I did not this afternoon and see what happen...
So I'll always say a short prayer before driving, "May there be no harm to me and to others as well. "
A simple prayer but a great protection...

Now, I'm excited, enthusiastic, and happy again...
I will live on with my uniqueness that none can match...
I will do what God wanted me to do...
Be the me that he made me to be...
To be none other than, Jason Niap...
That boy that was born with his own uniqueness...

Danger on the Road

Today something very scary happened...
It was an event after school...

After having my lunch at the mamak shop, I drove the car back home with my mother by the side...
There was a traffic jam so I had to drive slowly...
As I reached one of the traffic lights, I stopped...
After the red light turned to green, my mother asked me to change to the right lane...
I was about to move to the lane but I did not put on my signal..
So my mum asked me to put the signal on...
As I was busy listening to my mother's order, I had forgotten to look out for incoming cars...

I was slowly moving towards the other lane but a car was coming from the back...
Little did I know about it..
My mother was saying that there was a car coming but I was busy trying to move and put the signal on...
At that moment, it was like I totally forgotten about everything else..
In my head was like, "Change to the other lane, Signal, Change to the other lane, Signal"
I was moving blindly...
The car was coming close and my mum panicked...
She kept on warning me about the car and when I almost hit the car my mother screamed feeling panic...
I was suddenly aware and I quickly avoided the car...

At that moment, I was actually already feeling scared...
My scared mother was in a way scolding me...
I argued back at her saying "You keep asking me to change lane and put the signal then you shouting all somemore, I sure panic also la!! "
I shouted...
But deep down, I was actually scared...
It all happened in a blink of an eye...
If I was a second slower, I might not even be typing this now...
I could literally feel my hands shivering but I drove anyways...
I kept arguing with my mother and eventually I decided to just shut up and drive...

It was scary...
On the straight lane back at my housing area...
I wanted to just let it out a little so I moved a little faster but safely at the same time...
But that did not really help...
I was very angry...
I went up to my room as soon as we got back...
I was very very angry in fact...
But at the same time, I felt fear...
That incident was rather traumatizing for me...
I could have imagined being hit and ended up in a hospital or worse...
I kept thinking to myself...
And all that thinking, I felt tears rolling down my eyes...
I was scared and yet pissed...

I thought to myself , "I can drive why must she be so sensitive about it. I'm a new driver but yet she keeps telling me what to do as I'm driving. That is like back seat driving."
I felt like she was the one that disturbed my attention and almost caused it to happen...
She made me panic at that moment...
After taking a shower, I lied down on my bed thinking about it...
I could feel myself shivering all over...
I was traumatized...
I suddenly just lost the feeling of wanting to drive already..
I felt like a stupid guy...
With all my enthusiasm, all my confidence in everything I do...
I slowly start to feel  that many people don't like the way I do things...
They keep want to keep me under control telling me what to do...
I cried silently on my bed...
Sometimes I wished I had a life like others...
I feel my uniqueness was nothing unique..
I wanted to just quit...

Funny huh??? Being the guy who conviences others not to quit and gives advice...
I myself don't follow those advice I give people..
Easily discouraged and all...
I feel like a totally useless guy at that moment...
I still don't feel good as I write this...

I don't feel like asking to drive the car already...
I rather just be the passenger over the driver now...
It would be for the best...
Now I suddenly feel driving is not fun and just somehow hate it already...
But thank God no one was harmed....
Haiizzz....

Alena: Confession of a teenage heart

This is a good post for teenagers nowadays...
It is absolutely true in my opinion...
Trust me, I know..

Alena: Confession of a teenage heart: When a heart tells us we really like someone, we wont stop thinking about it. Love is always strong sometimes its like a magnetic force...

Open House at Puan Zainah Musa's house (My Add Maths teacher)

Hi readers,
It has been a while since I last wrote..
Well, I have my reasons ;D
Anyways, it has been exactly a week since I went to my teacher's house for her Hari Raya open house...
So it begins like this....

It was 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon....
I stopped playing my games and quickly got prepared to go to Pn.Zainah Musa's house...
And when I say quickly, I mean very quickly...
When I got prepared, it was already 4.40pm...
I rushed my father to send me there...
He asked whether I wanted to drive there myself but because I was rushing and the 'P' sticker hasn't been put on the car so I said "Nevermind."
So I arrived at my teacher's house at 4.50pm...
To my surprise, I was the first one there...
I saw some other school teachers, including my Ninjutsu sensei...
So I went in and greeted all the teachers and Puan Zainah Musa's family...
After greeting, my teacher welcomed me in to 'makan' first but I told her I wanted to wait for my classmates to arrive first...
So I sat down at the living room while waiting for the others to come...
We had all made a deal to arrive there by 5pm but I waited and no one came...
So my teacher said "Jason, eat first la. Your friends will come. Tak payah risau."
And so I ate first...
It was a simple Malay style meal but delicious....
There was nasi impit, kuah kacang, chicken curry, roti jala, some veggie in some weird yellow liquid, watermelon and my teacher's family recipe laksa...
So I ate while having a chat with some of the teachers eating there...
By around 5.20pm, Devaraja came with two others...
Once I was done eating, I made a call...
I called Sachin and Zafri to ask where they were...
They said they were on the way..
So then I called Govinash and he only said he was coming after I called him...
I decided to wait for him at the guardhouse..
When I was about to reach the guardhouse, I saw Zafri's car outside...
So he came down and waited with me...
Not long after, Govinash came along...
Then we walked back to teacher's house...

When we got back, there were some other guest as well...
Teacher asked me to show Zafri and Govinash what food there were and stuff like that...
Then, we sat down while they both ate...
So slowly my classmates come one by one...
Sachin, followed by Khoo Er Yang, Kavee, See Soon Yang, Jashen, Soong, Sharwesh, Lai Choon Kiat, Loi Chee Ming, Chew Joon Nick, and Gerard Wong...
While they were all having their 'makan' , we all chit chat as well...
Sachin was playing a Russell Peter's video on his phone...
Gerard was listening to K-pop on Lai's phone...
Everyone was doing something in short :P
After we were all done eating, we decided to go out and have a walk since it was getting stuffy inside...
So we told teacher that we were having a walk and went out...
I was taking photos the whole time as usual...
When I decided to take the photo of teacher's house she said "Ini masuk majalah apa??"
I replied "Majalah takde nama."
And so then we were on our way to the playground which I told them about...
We were all having a nice stroll and laugh towards the playground...
We almost looked like a group of gangster walking down the streets...

Not long after, we reached the playground...
We first went towards the hut and took a group photo together...
After that, mayhem began...
They played on the swings, ran around, made jokes, laugh like crazy...
Ahhh... It was like as though we were small children...
Sachin was taking a video of this....
We scared some of the people who were there I think...
They left the moment we got there...
I took photo of all their childish wonders...
It was so nice to see that we all still know how its like to enjoy ourselves...
And then I asked them all to gather at the slide set...
We took another group photo there...
It was a beautiful photo, but as usual, I was not in it :P
They played on the slide set a little and then they went on to the see-saw...
We had fun on the see saw..
Even I played on it...
After that, everyone scrambled around the playground...
Some of them played on the swings again...
After having much fun there, we eventually got tired and decided to head back to teacher's house..
We were all sweating like crazy already...
On the way back, I took some nice photos and even caught one which looked like running refugees photo...
Haha... :D

When we got back to teacher's house, some of my other classmates had arrived...
Daryl, Vijay, Jeyain, Philip, and Liew Mun Kent...
They were eating...
After talking with them for a while, we decided to go out and have some more fun...
This time, we decided to crash on Philip's car...
We played around his car...
Tried to lift it, make joke of it, raise the wipers up..
We did all sorts of nonsense on it...
And then, Loi accidentally did something to his car..
He lied down on the car and cause a crack on one of the mirrors...
We all laughed and when we told Philip, he did not believe us...
He only believed when he saw the picture on Facebook after going home :P
So we all had fun at teacher's house...
The clock showed 7pm and we were all suppose to leave by then...
Some of us then decided to go and catch a movie at Jusco...
We would get there by Soong's car and See's car...
After deciding who was coming with us, we thanked our teacher for the invitation and greeted farewell...

It was getting dark as we arrived at Jusco...
Me, Zafri, Sachin, Jashen, and Kavee was in Soong's car...
Gerard, Lai, and Loi was in See's car...
Loi and Gerard went home...
Vijay was at Jusco but he decided not to join us..
Sachin went to 7 eleven with Jashen and Kavee while Zafri went for his prayers at the surau..
The others was in See's car who was busy looking for a parking space..
So I was at the cinema theater checking out for what movie we could watch...
We only had two choice for the closest movie that time...
Final Destination 5 (18+) and Apollo 18 (PG13) ...
And I made phone calls and we finally decided to watch Final Destination 5...
So I went to the ticket counter along with Soong and Lai...
For your information, we are all under 18...
But we tried to sneak a ticket into the movie...
We were so close to getting our hands on it...
The man was already pressing it on his monitor until...
A woman asked, "Kamu semua atas 18 umur tak? "
I was so pissed that I almost wanted to choke her when she asked that...
So we were like "Ugghhh... Not all of us"
And then, we had no choice so we eventually decided to watch Apollo 18...
We had no idea what that movie was about....
While waiting outside as the room has not opened yet, we saw the trailer of Apollo 18 playing on one of the screen...
It looked rather scary and got us a bit hyped up to watch it...
So we bought our popcorns and drinks and went in after the room was opened...
We found room 7, entered the room and took our places...
Since we were the first one there, I took some photos before others entered the room...

We sat had a chat while waiting for the movie to start...
Then the trailers and advertisements started to play on the screen...
People were slowing coming in...
I sat between Lai and Sachin...
Soon after, the lights went off...
It was rather scary with the timing of the movie starting...
So the movie began...
The movie was made based on a footage from the time the Apollo 18 went to the moon...
It was rather boring at the start...
But things got interesting as the movie progressed...
The all so boring movie start to get more and more creepy, scary, shocking...
It got us on our seats...
Although we anticipated the first scary scene, we still got scared... Hahaha :D
Then more and more scary and disgusting scenes showed...
How many times did Sachin, Lai and I got scared...
There were even times we scared each other from jumping off our seats...
Lai even jumped and knocked on his seat...
Well, at the end, I would say this is a movie worth watching...
But it would be great if we could have watched Final Destination 5....
So we went to the restroom after the movie as usual...
Lai went back with See as soon as we went out..
Then I went down with Jashen, Soong, Zafri, Sachin, and Kavee...
We had a chat about the movie and some other stuff...
After that, Soong decided to go home so Kavee followed him...
Jashen's father came just after that...
My parents were shopping at Jusco at that time so I decided to keep Sachin and Zafri company till their parents came...
We waited outside..
Not too long and both of them had left the building...
So I went and search for my parents and the day ended like that...

That was one of the most fun I had for some time...
I really do enjoy every outing I go with my friends...
I look forward to more outings like this...
Till next time readers =D

Nicholas 21st Birthday

It was the 9th of September...
We celebrated my eldest brother's 21st birthday... (His birthday is actually 7th of September but 9th was a Saturday)
So the day went like this...

My mum was busy with the preparations for the party...
Cooking, cleaning and all... (You know what I mean :P )
Me and my brothers were playing during the morning...
After playing, we helped mum do some of the cleaning...
My brothers were cleaning while I was making the sandwiches...
And everyone was busy...

I did so many things for the first time that day...
It was the first time I ever cut a watermelon... LOL XD
The reason is because my mum does not allow us to use the knife...
But I insisted on helping and so I did...
Since it was my first time, I was not use to it...
Each time I cut there would be some excess on the skin and I would eat it..
God knows how many watermelon I ate while cutting it... Haha...
And then I also almost cut my finger but luckily the blade only hit my fingernail a little or who knows what might have happened...
And so I finally finished cutting the watermelon...

Another thing I did the first time was frying chickens >o<
So my mum told me what to do and I did as she told..
I dipped the marinated chickens into the flour till it is totally covered with it...
And then I slowly put them into the already heated oil...
And so I fried it using a small fire...
I waited for it to turn golden brown at least by a little...
But I waited so long and started to wonder whether I was doing it right or not...
So I asked my mum and she asked me to make the fire bigger and so I did...
After some time I wondered why the colour remained the same..
My mum then took it out of the frying pan and left it aside for awhile while I began to fry the next badge of chickens...
I saw the chickens that were removed earlier slowly changing to golden brown...
I was amazed for all this while I've been only eating fried chicken...
I did not know that it only changes colour once it is out of the frying pan....AMAZING!!!
And so with that first experience, I fried the remaining chickens like a professional... Haha...

Of course the drinks were prepared by no other than me...
The professional taster...
I made the punch rather well as it was complimented when everyone drank it... Hehe =D
And so the time for the party slowly reaches...
The food was prepared on the table...
Guest began to arrive...
My father's friend were the first to arrive...
Audrey was there and I took out a deck of cards to play with her along with my second brother...
I was busy doing some other things at the same time...
And of course I will never forget to take photos =D
After waiting for awhile, we decided to start eating as there was nobody coming after sometime..
My dad said the grace and prayer (for like almost the first time I've ever seen) rather well...
So we began eating...
I was playing some musics and all on the television too....
I even played some of the videos from our trip to Penang and Port Dickson...
Everyone had a great laugh...
Other guest slowly arrived one by one...
Lennin ( eldest brother's friend) , my aunt and her daughter (mother's side), my aunties and their children (father's side), and my two friends, Lai and Soong...
I was happy that Lai and Soong came despite being tired after badminton...
I was so busy moving up and down throughout the party...

Around 10pm + , we took out the cake and sang a birthday song for my brother...
Everyone was excited....
After singing the birthday song and eating the cake, I had to keep the guests occupied...

I took out my laptop to show to some photos to my parent's friends...
Lai and Soong were playing my PS2 at the back room while my parent's friend's children were playing my X-box 360 upstairs..
The mans were watching football...
Everyone was enjoying themselves while I was busy doing a lot of things...
When it was reaching midnight, Lai and Soong went home...
I was less busy when they left so I decided to start cleaning up a little...
I washed the plates while everyone was enjoying themselves...
My mother's friends praised me for doing the chores...
When I was done, I went to play along with Audrey and her friends upstairs...
Soon it was time to leave, we went down and greeted our farewells...
As usual the farewells take almost ages...
After that, we were busy cleaning up the house...
My dad knocked out as soon as the guest left....
He was tired and drunk after drinking and having so much of fun...
My two brothers slept early too...
I was the only one up helping my mum to clean the house up...
Soon I felt tired too so I decided to sleep but only after the cleaning was almost done...
My mum stayed up and continue with the chores...

And so the day ended like that...
It was a long and tiring but fun day for me...
I really had fun and look forward to having a party which will be very awesome for my 21st birthday...
Till that day comes reader...
Take care...

Youth Parish Retreat

Yesterday morning was the Youth Parish Retreat...
I did not wanted to go and was still in bed at around 7.40am....
Then, my mother woke me up from a SMS from Ezra...
He told me he was going and asked if I wanted to go...
At first I hesitated, but after SMS Ezra back and forth, I finally decided to go...
So slowly I woke up feeling tired as I slept late last night not expecting to go for the retreat....
I quickly got prepared and headed off to church...
As I was preparing, I realised something...
It wasn't my Ezra who is asking me to go for this retreat...
Instead, it was actually a call from God...
A call to join my friends to learn more about our faith and him....
I was awed by this...

I got there at around 8.25am, it was almost beginning...
I entered the hall and I saw my teachers and friends...
I looked for a place but there wasn't any where I could sit with my friends....
So I helped the teachers to arrange more chairs at the back...
Soon after, Ezra came and we sat together at one corner of the hall....
Father John first gave a speech and all, welcoming us for the retreat...
After that, we started with the praise and worship done by the CSS and the Y2Y...
I did not particularly like the first song but I did like the second one...
After the praise and worship, we had Father Raymond Michael facilitating this retreat...
He was gonna run the sessions in the morning...
He was a nice and funny priest... (Not as funny as Father Danny though)
He was a Franciscan Capuchin priest...
He began by telling us about the World Youth Day at Madrid which just recently ended...
Then, he elaborated on it...
About the Popes message to Youths and stuff like that...
A video about the history of World Youth Day was shown to us...
After the video, he mentioned the three key words that the Pope used:
  • Planted
  • Built up
  • Firm
Those words represent the foundation of our faith, building it up and making it strong and firm...
So for the first session, he elaborated on this three words and finally he broke us into groups....
We were to do a sharing among our own group about,
"How am I rooted in my Catholic faith?"
The question went something like that (I've forgotten)
I was chosen as the leader....
So each member of the team discussed about this question...
I asked them to share and we moved in an anticlockwise rotation...
Everyone gave some answers and Luke was writing them down as I tell him what to write...
Once the sharing session had ended, each team was to present about it to the others...
Most people had almost the same answers but with a few add-on here and there...
Once the presenting ended, we went for a short tea break at the cafeteria...
We had wade and tea/coffee for breakfast...
I sat with my some of my friends around the three while everyone else was sitting on the tables...

After the break, we re-entered the hall and took our place...
Father Raymond Michael mentioned about the new Eucharist...
He said that the words that we use during Mass will be changed to the new translation from the original text....
He explained briefly about it as Father Alvin Ho(one of our new priest in the Parish) was going to explain more detailed later in the afternoon...
Father Raymond Michael explained about the history of the Eucharist and what it is...
He also mentioned about the difference between hearing and listening...
While explaining the history of the Eucharist, he told us when the first Mass ever was held...
It was the Last Supper, that was the first ever Mass in history of the Catholic Church...
He also told us about offertory during the Middle Ages...
Back then, people would bring livestocks as and offering during Mass...
These livestocks will be used to feed the poor...
But in the present day, we would instead give money for the priest to buy food for the poor...
Another thing was when the priest wipes his hand, it symbolises wiping the dirty hands after accepting the offering in those days...
The history of the Eucharist and what it symbolises in those day was truly amazing...
Somewhere during one of the sessions, Father had also shown us some videos of people talking about how they are rooted in their faith as Catholics...
After explaining about the Eucharist and all, we again went back to our group to answer these questions:
  1. What is the Eucharist?
  2. What part does the Eucharist play in my life?
They were rather difficult questions to answer...
Not many people could give us answers for this so Luke and me crapped up some answers by ourselves and after hearing some comments from a few of them...
Then again, the groups were called out to present our answers but this time starting with group 6, my group...
So I went up and told our answers...
Once everyone was finished, Father Raymond Michael said this to us:
"I've been to many churches in KL but this is one of the best sharing and answers I have ever heard. The depth and meaning is there."
And everyone started clapping and cheering....
We were proud of our youths...
After that session, it was time for lunch...
But before we went for lunch, Father Alvin Ho gave us some instructions before we left the hall...

So it was lunch time, I sat with Ezra, Darell, Esther, Judy and Luke...
Darell was showing Ezra the video from their media camp on his notebook...
The rest was watching...
I've already watched it so I just ate my food but peeked here and there...
After watching that, we watched some other videos on Darell's notebook...
It was all funny...
Joan came by later and watched the videos with us...
While watching the videos, we were all having a chat as well...
After that, we played ANGRY BIRDS!!! for a little while...
The whole lunch break we were busy with Darell's notebook...
By the time we knew it, time had passed and it was time to return to the hall...
Father Alvin started the session by breaking us into our groups...
He used the name list that we wrote and gave him before the break to make the group...
Who would have thought a name list can affect the grouping... Haha XP
But luckily I got my bunch of friends from confirmation as my group...
Who would have thought writing names together would be so good ... Hehe :D
So we broke into our groups....
Each one of us were already given a paper that shows the new translation of the words used in Mass..
Our work was to identify in a group how many changes has been made....
And so in my group consisting of Ezra, Luke, Jude, Steffi, Lisha and me...
We did the task on the hall stage, behind the curtains with the fan and air-cond on :D
It was so hot that day so we took advantage of that...Haha..
Ezra and the girls did the most work while Luke, Judy and me were having fun...
We did help a little though...
Ezra as usual did great...
Once we were done, we were all joking around and laughing our hearts out...
It was fun and soon after, Father Alvin called us all to gather back and take our seats...
He asked the groups one bye one how many differences we spotted...
After that, he went through with us what changed...
Once he was done with that, he explained to us part by part about the celebration of the Mass..
The introductory rite, the liturgy of the word, the liturgy of the Eucharist, and the concluding rite....
He used videos that explained about them and stopped it here and there to explain it to us more detailed...
Father Alvin is a very knowledgeable and serious person..
He does not like people taking lightly on what he talks about..
Russell go it badly from him, and so did Bradley....
After two hours of talking about the history of the Eucharist and explaining it all, we had a tea break...
There only was tea and coffee as the curry puffs have not arrived yet...
But it was refreshing after such a long serious talk...
After the break, we went back to the hall again...

When we were all back in the hall, Father Alvin continued a little more about the Mass celebration...
There was some Q&A session (Question and Answer) and then he gave us instructions again...
We were to move to the Adoration Room three by three...
There was going to be an adoration session there...
The Blessed Sacrament was placed on the table...
Behind that table was the three priests of our Parish (or currently known as the Trinity.. Haha )
The Tamil speaking youths were already kneeling down inside when we got there...
So the rest of us quietly entered the room and knelt down...
Father John was going on with some talking and prayers...
After some time, my knees started to hurt so I knelt in a lower position...
But eventually it got too painful so I sat on the chair as I saw others doing so too...
As everyone was there, we joined Father John with all the chant he was chanting...
One of it, "Be still and know I am God" ...
It was a wonderful chant...
Everyone followed after he chanted it for a few times...
Then, he did it, girls only and boys only...
It was melodious and spiritually relaxing...
Then, I heard some people crying from the chant already...
As usual, in the silent presence of God, singing his praises, people do feel his presence..
I saw the girl kneeling beside me crying so sadly...
I do not cry easily (except in confirmation camp or when I'm very angry/sad)....
But looking at her crying so sadly really makes one's heart feel the same...
I could just feel the strong presence in the room...
Then, we were instructed to go three by three...
To touch the Blessed Sacrament on the bottom part of it while the three priests holds on to our hands and pray for us...
The Blessed Sacrament

Everyone was listening to what Father John was saying and follow whatever chant he was chanting...
The chants were all so beautiful....
While people go in front three by three, chants were chanted and after every chant, Father John says a prayer...
I waited long for my turn to finally come...
People seem rather selfish rushing from the back to get the blessings despite some at the front haven't..
It was rude but there was nothing we can say about it...
Once it was all over, we were blessed and forgiven of our sins...
Father John then talked to us for awhile and finally he said "Now let everyone meet everyone"....
So everyone went around to greet one another with the sign of peace...
Even the three priests join and greeted everyone...
After all that, we had the closing prayer and final word...
After that, we headed to the cafeteria to have the curry puffs that we did not get to eat earlier...
I stayed there with Darell and Ezra for awhile, chit chatting while eating curry puff along with air bandung...
Once I was finish, I headed for the hall and then I went back with teacher Gerald...

Retreats like this is really worth the time and should be done more often...
I found it rather satisfying and look forward to more of it...
Till next time readers ^^

One Day Camp for Catholic Paulians

Today,
I attended a one day camp at school...
The camp was meant for the Catholic boys in St.Paul Secondary...
I was awake early at 7am to get ready to go to school...
My father sent me there...
I was excited as I already knew who was facilitating the camp...
FATHER DANNY!!!
The most hilarious priest alive...
Since he was facilitating, I was sure its gonna be fun...

So I arrived there around 8am...
Some of them were already there when I arrived...
I registered myself and got my name tag...
My friends were there already...
Ezra was there...
We were at the hall upstairs...
So we waited for others to come....
It was a cold morning as it had rain earlier....
In the chilly cool morning, we waited and chatted...
Not many turned up as expected...
Only around 20 turned up where the rest arrived later on when sessions had begun...
Soon after, the teachers arrive and so did Father Danny...
I learnt that he was in school since 8am loitering around...
And after chatting with Father and the teachers for awhile, session was about to begin...
We started off with the praise and worship session...
The singing was rather dull as many of them did not sing along...
After the singing, Father commented on the singing and made a joke out of it..
He mentioned about the cold morning which was suitable for...sleeping :P
He then requested that we move to the Form 6 classroom downstairs as it would be easier to hear each other in a smaller room rather than shouting in the hall...
It was a good idea and so we cleaned up the hall and quickly went down..
As they were organising themselves downstairs, I was closing up the hall...
I went down a joined them after that...
We rearranged the tables to put 5 group of 4 tables....
Then, when everyone entered and moved to the table of their choice, Father told us to stand at the back...
He used the number method to decide our group counting from 1 to 5...
I was in group 3...
So was Ezra, Zeke, Russell, and Charlene was in my group as well...
After rearranging, Ezra was separated and put into another group...
Once he was done arranging the groups, session began....

The teachers were kindly asked to leave the room for our first session...
Father Danny started with asking us about "What I like about being a Paulian"....
Then he started to talk about it and told some stories...
He mentioned a lot of stuff about how privileged we are to have a Catholic community and still continue to be called a Paulian...
He said one day when the school is taken over by the Malays, the name Paulians might be called Muhammadians... Haha... A real laugh...
But then he told us about the story of how Christians and Muslims actually worked together to fight for their rights against the Jews in the past....
And then we went on, he asked some people what they like about being a Paulian...
Then, he gave each group a mahjong paper to write it down...
Once we were done, he asked us to write "What I dislike about being a Paulian" .....
After writing down both the likes and dislikes, he asked us to present it group by group...
There were all kinds of funny answers and we had a great laugh...
Father commented on certain stuffs here and there...
We could share openly as the teachers were not there and it was only among us and Father...
After the session was over, we went for our tea break...
We had some mee hoon and tea....
During the break, I was asked to bring the small Bibles from the prayer room to the classroom and so I did along with the help of some others...

After the break, we returned to the classroom....
Once we were settled, Father asked us to sing the song 'Above All'...
I joined the group in front as the singing group and we sang it the first time...
After that, Father asked us to close our eyes and reflect on the lyrics of the song as he, Ezra and myself...
We sang the song meaningfully as the others listen...
It was a moment of awe as the room was filled with the praises to God on high....
Once we were done singing, he asked us this....
"Name me some teenagers from the New Testament of the Bible"
Everyone started with the easiest one Mother Mary when the angel Gabriel come down to her was a teenager...
Nobody knew who else there was after that...
So one by one, Father mentioned the names and the Bible texts which relates to them....
They were:
  • John Mark from the Acts of the Apostle 15:36
  • Timothy from 2 Tim 4:11
  • Rhoda the servant from Acts of the Apostle 12:7-17
  • And the boy who gave Jesus the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes to feed 5000 men not including children and women
This were the examples who used to tell us about teenagers in the Bible...
Later, he asked Daryl to read from the Gospel of Luke 15:11-32 about the prodigal son...
He told us to remember this line:
'Severe famine in that Country'
What did it really meant??
The boy could feed the pigs when they mentioned 'severe famine' ...
By right if it is severe, there should not even have been food to feed the pigs...
What Jesus meant when he told the disciples this parable was that the severe famine is the sign of emptiness ...
In that Country was referring to the prodigal son...
It was fascinating how that line could hold such deep meaning...
After all the bible sharing stuff and all, he asked us about our struggles both in school and at home...
The teachers were again asked to leave during this session....
So everyone mentioned some struggles and Father explained and understood those struggles...
Then he asked some questions like, "Who has struggles with your parents?"
Something like that and people raised their hands according to the struggles...
Once all that was over with, he did some serious talk which was like some kind of advice to us...
He even told us some stories about others who struggle in life and all...
After that, we went for lunch...
We waited a little for the food to arrive...
As soon as the food arrived, everyone quickly went to help and bring the food in as everyone was hungry...
The food was spicy but delicious...
Some of us were literally sweating from the spiciness....

After lunch, we came back to the classroom...
I was not sure when but Father Danny had explained to us about another Bible text from
Mark 2:1-12 which was about a friend in need, is a friend indeed...
A was a story about how the faith of four men to help their paralytic friend made him well...
It was a great story to show us about helping others in our faith life...
Anyways, after lunch, the main program was the role play...
After discussing about the struggles and all, he asked each group to prepare a role play whether about the struggle at home or in school...
It was all spontaneous but it was done well and the message was there...
It was funny too..
My group did about "How you are treated is not necessarily how you should treat others"
After all the role playing, Father had taught us how to pray and also told some more stories...
He prayed for us and blessed us...
Once it was all done, Miss Lucy gave Father Danny a token of appreciation..
The tables and chairs were rearranged to its original positions while I was with Joan going to keep the mini Bibles back to the prayer room...
We were all given each a necklace of the Divine Mercy which was blessed by Father Danny...
Father had left in a hurry...
He did not have enough time to share some other things he planned out for us sadly...

Either ways,
We had fun that day....
Though it was half a day we learnt a lot of valuable stuff as teenagers and students...
Father Danny truly is awesome and we are blessed to have him, a Paulian and a Seremban local to be with us and share with us the love of Christ...
God bless us and I continue to pray that Father Danny remains healthy and continue to inspire more youths all around...

Such a mood killer!!!

Yesterday was a tiring, fun yet bad day for me...

We have just finished our last paper (for now actually), Biology, yesterday..
We planned a futsal game later that night...
We wanted to enjoy ourselves after two long week of exams...
And so I went home tired from doing the exam..
We were all excited that it was the last paper...
Lai had also planned a badminton game just before the futsal game...
At first I did not wanted to go, but after thinking about it, I decided to go for both....
So it was 4 hours straight of exercise. But I was down with it...
When I reached home, I took a shower first...
After that, I had a cup of milo with biscuits and a plate of mee...
I knew I have no time to have dinner because I would be out playing from 6.30pm to 10.30pm so I ate as much as I can first...
At 5pm, I watched the Challenger (A Korean variety program). It was a great episode which was rather hard to watch from what happened...
My favourite player was out of the game and I was rather pissed from what happened...
Right after that program, I rushed and packed my stuff...
I quickly got prepared and my dad took me to the badminton centre, Summer Sports...
I asked him for RM20 and he asked me a lot of questions...
On the way there, I got annoyed from the nagging he gave me....
When I got there, no one had arrived yet...
I called Lai and Sachin...
They both said they were on the way...
So I waited outside as it was my first time there....
When Lai arrived, we entered the building....
Lai had already booked a court but sadly there was only one available court...
So Lai and me started to play first...
It has been a long time since I last played badminton so I was a bit stiff...
After playing awhile, I slowly got my touch back..
Soon after, Loi came and the Sachin..
We had a problem that time, Lai only brought two shuttlecocks and they were cheap ones..
So we were running out of good shuttlecocks but we continued playing...
Later, Jason Too came and then Soong...
Soong was suppose to bring Kavee but he forgotten...
After playing awhile, the shuttlecocks was in such a bad shape and we needed a new one..
So they took one on the floor from another court...
But that got into a bad shape after a few games too...
In the end, Lai found some good shuttlecocks from the dustbin (LOL XD )
We used it though...
It was a good brand ~Sealion ~
There was so many of it...
We just had to take them...
We played with them despite it being dirty...
After some time, we saw Kavee coming in with his father and his father's friends..
Sachin told me that his father is a badminton player and they go there quite often...
We kept playing and had fun till the last minute...
When we were done, we changed and headed for futsal at Public Star just next door....

I was expecting a fun game of futsal even though I had already played badminton earlier...
We saw them and greeted them excitedly..
I was having some snacks while we were waiting for some of the others to arrive...
Once we had enough players, we entered the court...
We were having fun at first as we all played like how we always do...
Then when the crowd started getting bigger, they decided to break into two and open up two court...
But the problem here was that there would only be 8 players on both court...
They have taken all the ones that knew how to play on one court and does who do not play really well on the other...
I was among does who could not play so well...
I had argued with that fact a little at first and I also said that it is difficult to play a 4v4 match like that...
They did not listen and just went on with it...
So I played on...
As we were playing, I saw the others playing on the other court...
They were playing so seriously like as though it was some bloody competition...
We here on the other court was having fun...
But in the process of playing, I slowly saw them getting bored and playing without any spirit...
It was getting boring and we stopped playing...
Then we started to discuss about what was going on...
Some was not happy with what was happening....
We discussed with them on the other side..
They asked why we were not playing...
I told them again that we came to have fun, run around and laugh...
But that was not what was happening...
Slowly from a discussion it became an argument...
At first it was a rather small argument till I got totally pissed off by what Jason Too said:
"Why you all not playing? Don't tell me you all noob cause if you say that then I'll f*cked you up. I have a good reason to."
That line really crossed it...
It was damn pissed at him that I almost wanted to hit him...
Luckily we were on separate court and there was a net between us otherwise who knows what I would have done...
We broke up the discussion and I discussed with some of them at my court...
I was already angered at that point of time...
Angrily I said:
"We came here to have fun, not to play a bloody tournament. We are not training for a tournament. I came here despite being tired to have fun with friends. Not to be screwed by an ugly idiot like him (Jason Too I mean). I could have easily just stayed at home and be playing games now."
I even thanked Lai for inviting me for a fun badminton game before the futsal game...
Then I backed off the group, I was thinking to myself again as I always do when I get angry...
And then, I felt tears rolling down my eye...
It has been a long time since I ever cried from being angry...
And yet I cried again, because of the same fool who always makes me cry from anger....
I really could not hold it back already that time...
But the group then decided this:
"We are going to play for awhile more. We finish up one hour and then we close one court. We will just pay for one hour and go home rather than wasting our time here."

I agreed on that proposal and so we played awhile more till it was 9.30pm....
After that, one court was closed...
Lai, Sachin, Soong, Bryan and myself...
We decided to leave...
We sat at the bench and was discussing what to do...
The rest had entered the court and continued to play again...
We were deciding between playing badminton again, going home, going somewhere to eat or continue playing...
In the end we decided to go to Summer Sports first...
We all took out our share of the pay and gave it to Zafri...
We quietly left the futsal centre without saying bye...
I was the most pissed and sad I guess...
It really was a mood killer...
When we got to Summer Sports, we all finally decided to just go back home and have our rest...
Soong was the first one off as he could drive...
Then Lai went back not long after...
Bryan, Sachin and me...
We were waiting for our parents to arrive..
We sat on the block at the entrance of the badminton centre waiting for our parents...
We were having a chat about what had just happened and some other stuff...
After awhile, my father came and I was off back to my house...

The thing about all this was, I'm not sure who really is at fault actually...
When I got home and thought about it, I felt like I was the cause of all this commotion...
But there were certain events that would have triggered it...
One was what Jason Too had told me..
Two, I was tired and exhausted after such a long day...
Three, it was crowded...
Four, it was not well organised...
And there are many other more reasons...
But today, I have already said sorry to two person...
One was Jeyain and he was cool about it...
The other was Jason Too but despite me apologising, he had instead pissed me off again by saying this:
"You should've put aside your pride and ego and join us"
He actually had the nerve to say this despite being one of the person to start the commotion..
I had said yesterday to Bryan and Sachin that I would slap him on the face if he mentioned about it in school...
But lucky he said it through the Internet or I would have slapped him...
I hope events like this do not happen again anywhere in the future...
I never like arguing or fighting with friends as it would hurt me more than it would them...

So my message here to you readers,
If you can, don't be involved with an argument or fight with a friend...
It is painful and I really do regret my actions in a way...

Holiday at Port Dickson

Hello readers,
I have just returned from Port Dickson (PD) this morning and I'm exhausted from all the fun and excitement...
It was the kind of trip I've been waiting for quite some time...
Though there were disappointments during the trip...
Either ways, it was all fun...

It all started on Friday, 18th of August 2011...
I woke up in the morning and used the computer as I won't be around during the weekends...
After using the computer, I was actually expecting to leave for PD at around 3pm to 4pm....
So my family was busy packing our luggage and everything...
After that I was playing my X-box 360, playing F.E.A.R. 2 ....
Alma scared the shit out of me....AHHHH!!!! Haha ^^
Later I got to know that we are leaving only later at the night because the rest of them have something to do in the evening and all...
And so the day pass as usual till around 8pm ....
We left for PD...
My dad used the road through Seremban 3 to get to the highway from Rasah Jaya...
On the way he decided to stop at the petrol station...
There we saw Uncle Das and his wife..
We were talking to them there and discussing some stuff for awhile...
After that, my dad went around to get a pair of sports shoes...
In the end we got it at the 'pasar malam' ...
From there we headed for PD...
I was playing my PSP as usual....
My dad was driving fast so I was told...
I was too busy playing that don't even know what was happening around in the dark night..
Traveling in the night reminds me of the time we returned from Penang at night...
At least an hour or so drive and we got there...
That very same TNB apartment that we used to go back then when I was small..
Its the only place where we could actually get a 3-room apartment for RM50 a night...
Its very very cheap...
My dad booked two rooms...
We were going to be there for three days and two nights...
Truth to be told, it was almost like 2 nights and 1 day because we only arrive there late at night and return early on Sunday....
But what the heck, it was all for the fun and relaxing from the stressful world...
There was going to be 5 family...
Uncle Das's family , Uncle Peter.T 's family , Aunty Gloria's family, Uncle Dennis and wife , and my family...

So my family was the first to be there...
We checked-in at the counter....
It was room 502 and 503...
The rooms are connected which makes the apartment two times bigger....
So there are 6 bedrooms....
We went into room 503 as it was the closest to the elevator...
The floor was dirty and the place looks a bit of a mess....
The door connecting the two room was still close...
So we put our luggage into my parents bedroom and, my brothers and me took the other bedroom where there are two single beds...
We connected the beds together to make it bigger...
My dad went to complain about the dirty floor so they were gonna send someone to mop the floor...
Once we were settled waiting for the others to arrive, my mum realised that she forgotten to bring soap...
So parents went to get it and at the same time show the others the way to the apartment...
My brothers and I were watching television...
Planet of the Ape was on at that moment...
Then while I was in my room, the doorbell rang..
My eldest brother came in to call me out...
It was the cleaning service...
So I told her "Yes, both rooms please" in Malay....
And she began mopping...
While we were watching the television, my brother told me to keep an eye on the lady just in case...
We were cautious whether she might steal some stuff...
After awhile, she left through the other door...
After some time, my parents came back along with the others...
Everyone was here except Uncle Dennis and his wife...
They settled down and then they had a drink as usual >.<
While they were chatting, the children were watching television...
I was sitting in my room studying for my add maths paper the coming Monday while drinking red wine...
At around 1am, I was tired so I decided to go to sleep...
The children all went to sleep while the adults continue with their chit chat...

The next morning, I woke up at around 7.45am....
As my brothers were still sleeping, I slowly crept out of my room...
Nobody was awake...
I sat at the living room for awhile then my mother came out...
She ask why I was awake so early and told me to go back to sleep...
So I went back to sleep...
When I woke up later, it was around 8.30am ...
Some of the adults were already awake...
I woke up early actually so that we can go to the swimming pool as I was told yesterday...
"If you want to go to the swimming pool, wake up early and go."
But most of them were sleeping so I washed up and waited for them..
I had my breakfast, milo with biscuits...
After waiting for everyone, we only went down to the swimming pool around 10am...
We went to swim while the mothers went to the sauna...
Half way while we were swimming, it started to rain...
It was a real disappointment as we were having fun till it stopped us...
We went up disappointed...
After taking a shower, we were stuck inside the room again...
The children wanted to go to the arcade...
I was ready to go but we had to wait for the girls...
They took quite some time...
By the time they were prepared, it was time for lunch and we headed out for our lunch...
We went to this small little Indian shop where they opened up a stall at their own house...
The food was not bad and we enjoyed it...
When we got back, we headed for the arcade first...
It was a disappointment that some of the machines were not working..
But we still spent our time there...
Later, we went up and was yet again stuck in our rooms...

The rain started slowing down later in the evening, my eldest brother and I were hyped up to go to the swimming pool...
But my other brother did not wanted to go because it was still drizzling...
When the rain had fully stopped, me and my two brothers went down to the swimming pool by ourselves...
We expected some of them to come down but they did not...
Later, Thomas (Uncle Peter.T's son) came and join us...
Without knowing, the others were enjoying themselves in the beach playing Champion...
After swimming for about one and a half hours, the girls came to join us...
We were playing with the 'monkey' with the ball that time...
The girls joined us...
We had fun after 3 hours of being in the swimming pool...
We came out and went to our rooms to shower...
I was slightly disappointed at the fact that I would not have the chance to have fun in the beach...
I was eager to go to the beach since before even coming to PD...
Despite that disappointment, I had fun...
On the way out of the swimming pool, we saw the fathers playing ping-pong...
It was fun to watch..
After watching awhile we went up..
Thomas stayed down to learn how to play...
After taking my shower, I had a cup of tea and biscuit...
When I saw the photos of them playing in the beach, it looked like they had a hell lot of fun...
Even my mother had fun, I'm glad she did..
Once everyone had their shower, we were set to go for dinner...
We went to an open air Chinese restaurant...
It was quite a nice environment to have our dinner...
The adults were sat on once table while we, the children, sat on another...
The adults made the order while we just sit there and chat while waiting for the food to arrive...
As usual, in a Chinese restaurant, they gave us the cutlery first...
Then came the Chinese tea and the cup...
And one by one, the dishes came after we were served our plate of rice...
The 6 dishes were egg omelette, sweet and sour chicken, some veggie(no idea what it was), prawns, sizzling tauhu, and fish...
The fish was a bad idea by the adults to call for the children...
Either ways, we enjoyed our dinner and went straight back to our apartment after our meal....
My dad stopped by a grocery shop to get some ice and groundnuts..
Me and my eldest brother went in also to get some snacks...
We got back to the apartment not long after...
The adults were going to head down to the karaoke room...
My eldest brother and I followed while my second brother stayed back in the room as he was not interested...
The girls did not come down too...
When we reached the lobby, we had to wait for awhile before entering the room...
Someone came down, opened the room and set the karaoke machine up...
He explained to me how to use it and I was the one handling the machine throughout...
I just wanted to watch the adults sing and enjoy themselves...
I did not regret following them down as it was so much fun to watch them...
We laughed and sing-along with them as the old songs were played...
I really enjoy myself though I was not singing...
I particularly liked it when Uncle Dennis and his wife sang a duet ~ Endless Love ~ and when Elvis Presley's song ~Jailhouse Rock~ was played...
Those were the best two songs...
At about 11pm, the man came in and told us that our time was up...
After the last song, we left and went back up to our apartment room...
Again, the adults were chit chatting on the table while drinking...
The girls were watching a movie 'Paycheck' (If I was not mistaken) went we got back...
I joined them and watch the movie while drinking as well...
It was a nice movie (too bad I only saw half of it)...
After the movie, the children were all tired and all went straight to bed...
The adults followed soon after...
And that marks the end of that day...
We had to sleep early because we had to wake up early the next day to head back to Seremban for Mass....

I got up early the next morning, 6am to be precise...
Actually my brother woke me up from my phone alarm playing ~ Super Junior's 'Super Girl' ~
After my mother was done taking her shower, I went in next...
I had told my brother to continue sleeping and I would wake him up later...
Then, my eldest brother went in followed by my second brother...
Everyone slowly woke up and got ready in the process...
By around 7.30am, everyone was awake having a cup of hot drink...
We were packed and moving our stuffs down so that it would be easier to go down later...
Once, everyone was fully prepared to leave, we checked around to make sure nothing was left behind...
We got down and headed to the parking lot waiting for my father to deal with the checking out...
When he was done, we greeted our farewell and they thanked my father for inviting them..
We all had great fun and now we are headed by to church at Seremban town....
After Mass, we went out for breakfast...
Coincidently, we met up with Uncle Das's family and Uncle Dennis with his wife...
We went for breakfast together at the roti canai shop....
It was crowded...
The adults sat together again while my brothers and I sat with Audrey on another table...
After breakfast, we greeted farewell again...

And that dear readers, is the holiday I had...
It was wonderful as I had a week of stressful exam subject's next week (stressful for others and not me to be precise)
I look forward to more holidays like this and to tell you all about my fun time...
Till then dear readers...
Take care..

Road to getting my driving license (The end)

Hey readers,
Guess what!!??
I finally got my driving license... WOOOOHOOO!!!!
I've been waiting for this day...
Funny thing is I have a license with no car but what the heck...

It was the 4th of August...
The day for my JPJ exam (the driving exam)...
I left school at 1.30pm...
My mum fetched me from school...
Along with my brother we went to do our JPJ exam...
The exam starts at 2pm but we were there at around 1.40pm...
My eldest brother failed the circuit at the parking so he was still there...
So I went in to get myself registered and get my number...
After that, I took a quick toilet break and we were off to the driving circuit...
All the students were sitted on the benches waiting for the JPJ examiners to finish what they are doing...
After awhile, those who failed the exam in the morning were called out one by one to resit for their exam...
Those who passed were also called out and ready to go for the road exam...
Those of us who were there for the third session which was the 2pm exam were all waiting...
Soon, the session 3 students were called to line up according to number to sign on the form...
We were then sitted according to our number...
After awhile, a JPJ examiner came to give us a briefing about the exam...
Once those who were re-sitting the circuit exam were finished, they called the session 3 students 5 by 5 to go to the starting line which was at the hill exam...
I was very confident about my exam the whole morning, but at that moment I felt nervous...
Its because I have not drove the car for about a month since my lesson ended...
I got to know two guys a little which was the guy with no.7 and no.9....
While no.1 to no.5 were doing their hill exam, we were watching from the hut....
When it was my turn, I got on the car...
I adjusted the seat and fastened my seat belt...
I was nervous...
The examiner then shouted out "no.8" (my number)...
I moved up the hill as usual I was looking out of the window to see the yellow line...
But due to nervousness, I accidentally pressed on the brake way too early...
I was barely near the yellow line...
So I went back down and used my second and last chance...
I could not afford to fail my exam after such a long wait...
So with cautious I did it and I made it...
I went down smoothly to the next exam, the parking exam...
It wasn't any challenge for me because I used my instructor's formula for the parking exam..
I took a little more time than usual but I passed it...
Next, I went into the last circuit exam, the 3-point turning...
I did it so easily that I could laugh...
When I was done, I wanted to park my car...
But I totally forgotten that I have to park at the starting line just at the hill exam...
Then the JPJ examiner on the motorcycle came and called me...
Just awhile before he called me, I recalled as well and so I quickly turn there...
After the exam, I went to sign the exam form and then I was sitted again at the benches...
My brother fail because he moved into the wrong lane for the 3-point turning..
I could feel his disappointment....

The sky slowly turn darker as we waited for the students from the morning session to finish their road exam...
I waited anxiously to be done with it...
My eldest brother failed because his engine died...
My other brother failed as well because he forgot to put his handbrake down...
And it was finally my turn...
With one of the examiner holding an umbrella covering me, I went into car no.7 ...
I adjusted my seat and got into the car...
I greeted the examiner which was the only lady examiner for the road exam...
Then, I did the pre-check before going off...
I was told to go to lane 3 for my road exam...
So I reverse and I accidentally made a sudden brake...
I was using the Viva which most people fear because it is harder to handle than the Kancil...
The brake gave me some problem...
So did the gear...
But I move smoothly as usual as though as I was with my instructor (except that I was a little more cautious)
With low lights on and the wiper functioning, I drove under the heavy rain..
Like my first experience on the road, I'm driving under the rain...
I was not afraid because I know that I can do it...
I drove with confidence with a little mistakes here and there...
At a certain traffic light, I was lucky that it was showing green...
Why I say I was lucky???
Its because at that area I once made a mistake when my instructor was teaching me to drive...
My car would move back a little when I want to move from a stop...
Its because that road was an uphill...
I was so happy that it showed green and passing there, I was 100% confident I would pass...
After driving for some time, I got back to the driving institute...
I sat there watching the examiner writing on the report...
She told me that she is giving me a chance for one of the point...
She says that my steering handling is a little unstable and that I should practice more on the road...
And with a score of 17/20 , I passed my JPJ exam...
I was hype up with the fact that I passed my exam...
I saw the guy with no.9 and he passed as well...
My brother came with an umbrella and took me to my mum at the main building...
After getting everything done at the office counter, we went back home with a smile on my face...

Its just a sad thing that my brothers failed their exam..
I hope they do well when they re-sit for the exam...
On the next day, my dad went to take my 'P' license from the JPJ office at Senawang...
I am now legally able to drive on the road...
I just can't wait to get a car...
Till then readers...
Take care..

OPA Games

Today,
The OPA (Old Paulian Association) Game was held...
I was there for the tug-of-war match...
So this is what happened...

I woke up early to get ready...
I left home at 8.45am ...
When I got there, the basketball game has already begun, the football players were getting warmed up while some of them were sitting at the pavilion...
After watching the football players, both the Old Paulians and the Paulians, warming up, I went to the basketball court to watch the game...
Even though it is called OLD PAULIANS , the old Paulians at the basketball court were just a few year senior to us...
But they are still considered old Paulians because they finished schooling already...
And the team playing for the Paulians were all my friends...
The game was awesome...
The passing, shooting, rebound taking, intercept....
Woah!!! It was all just too awesome to miss...
The first half of the game was over when I came...
They were just about to start the third quarter of the game...
There were many familiar faces there...
Our principal , Madam Yap was there to cheer the Paulians on...
At the end of that awesome game, the old Paulians totally owned the Paulians by 20 points with a score of 65-45 .....
While the basketball match was going on, I was also watching the football match at the same time (but of course I watched the basketball match more)
I saw the old Paulians taking a free kick twice and both of it went it... INCREDIBLE!!!
Can you imagine this middle age men who are at the age of around 40-60 are playing better than the youngsters???
Well I can because I saw it...
One of them shot a beautiful one from the left wing while the other shot a perfectly straight one from almost half the field away from the goal post...
Simply amazing...
These old Paulians just impressed me all the way to the top...
At the end of the basketball match, the football match just finished its first half...
After a short rest and some preparation, the volleyball match was about to begin and the 2nd half of the football match had begun...
Not as I expected, I was about to join the volleyball match...
I played the practice game with the school team and some other boys while waiting for the old Paulians who were resting...
After awhile, they arrived but there was only four of them sadly...
So the form 6 boys joined them...
The game began and I was a substitute along with some others...
So while waiting to join the game, I did some linesman work...
The sky was dark...
After some time, the score of both team were even and the football match has ended...
I was told that the football match ended with the Paulians winning with a score of 7-6...
Is impressive how those old Paulians could actually keep up with them at their age...
The first round of the volleyball match ended with the Paulians winning 25-17..
As the second round was going on, it suddenly started to drizzle at first...
Everything was okay and we played on...
But not long after, it just suddenly poured down heavily...
The game was cancelled...
The old Paulians and the Paulians ran and laughed as hard as we could to shelter which was far away...
We were at the edge of the field...
We ran like mad and laughed while enjoying the run...
It was fun...
I enjoyed that moment of the day...
The wind and rain at St.Paul is just simply amazing...
If it rains, it rains heavily and the wind becomes very cold...
I just love it..
Everyone was sitting either at the pavilion or at the hall...
They were all having a chat...
I took some photos of the view of the school in the rain...
It was beautiful in a way...
It rained so heavily (in fact the heaviest I've ever seen) that the field was almost flooded with water...
You can barely see the grass...
The teachers then told the boys that the equipments (net, volleyball pole, etc.) needs to be taken down and be placed back at the store room...
So these group of boys ran in the rain to get it all down...
Its so funny and nice to see them doing that...
It seems like so much of fun but I did not wanted to get too wet or I'll get the scolding of a lifetime...
But I wished I could have joined them and enjoy the rain...
Instead, I helped the teacher under the shelter to return move some stuff....
And soon after, everyone was trying to get themselves dried up...
The old Paulians, Paulians, and teachers were having a chat under shelter....
While I was drying myself up, I called my mum to fetch me from school and I waited for her at the canteen...

So at the end of the day,
I enjoyed myself and saw many awesome things...
Though I may have not done what I went there for, I'm happy I went there for my last year as a Paulian....
LONG LIVE ST.PAUL!!!

A trip to Penang

Hello readers,
I have gone to Penang the past weekend...
My family along with Uncle Das's family (P.S. They are a family friend) went on a trip to Penang...
It was Uncle Das, his wife , Rosemary, and his daughter, Audrey...
It was for our annual pilgrimage to St.Anne's Church....
And so here is how it all began...

It all started on a Friday night, 22nd of July 2011...
My family was packing our stuff pass midnight (when we could have done it earlier >.< )
We were done packing by around 12 - 1 am ...
The next morning, we woke up later than planned, at 6am...
We were suppose to be ready by 5am but because of the alarm we woke up late...
So we quickly got ready and went to meet up with Uncle Das and family at the Seremban rest stop...
And we were off to Ipoh first to meet up with Uncle Das nephew...
My dad asked my to sit in Uncle Das car but I did not wanted to...
And so we were off for a long ride on the road....
I was busy reading my new book "How to stop worrying and start living" by Dale Carnegie.....
An awesome book ^^
Then I decided to take a nap because I was still tired for not getting enough rest the night before...
After 2 hours on the road, we reached our usual stop at the Tapah rest stop to stretch and relax...
Then we headed to Uncle Das nephew's house...
From there, I started sitting on Uncle Das's car..
We just dropped by for awhile and headed off for Bukit Mertajam where St.Anne's Church is...
Sitting at the back with Audrey, I disturbed her quite a lot throughout the journey...
Childhood buddies since I was 3 years old...
Can you imagine???
Anyways it was another long trip to St.Anne.....
I had caught a flu at that time...
It annoyed me throughout the journey as well....
Audrey decided to play her Justin Bieber disc to annoy me....
Halfway on the road, Audrey fell asleep listening to her Justin Bieber music (which was suppose to be a torture for me or so it seems... ) and then I decided to sleep as well because I was tired due to the flu...

After some time we arrived at St.Anne's church...
It was an ever welcoming sight as usual...
We went to get the candles and flower and started by entering the old church building first to offer our prayer...
After that we walked up the stairs to reach the statue at the top for a more powerful prayer...
Halfway up the stairway, we decided to stop and take some photos....
As usual I'm with my camera busy taking photos all around.... (hahaha!!! =D )
After reaching the top, lighting our candles and saying our prayers, we went down to the middle where the statue of Mother Mary is located....
There we usually say a group prayer together, I lead the prayer...
Lighting the candle proved to be difficult as the strong wind of St.Anne blew...
I said "Our prayer has been accepted when the candles were blown off."
After that, we went down to where the waterfall is...
And a Dejavu happened , it rained again like last year when we went to the waterfall... (P.S. It is just a small waterfall not a huge one... )
We went to the toilet and then waited under the shade while the my father and Uncle Das went to get the umbrellas...
When they got back with the umbrellas, we went towards the tap where we could collect the Holy Water...
We drank the water and washed our face...
At that moment, the rain subsided and we closed our umbrella...
After that, we went to offer Mass....
After giving our Mass offering, we went into the new church building...
This might have been the first time I got to take pictures inside the new church building...
We all say yet another prayer there before moving around to check out the inside of the church...
They have a beautiful altar with many wonderful statues around...
Once we were done, we headed out to go to the souvenir shop...
The rain starting pouring again while we were walking towards the souvenir shop...
There was many cool things in the shop...
After buying some souvenirs, we got some ice-cream (even though I had flu)...
After finishing our ice-cream, we were off to Penang island...
We were way ahead of schedule...
We took the ferry to get to the island...
We enjoyed the ride under the hot sun on the ferry and took some beautiful photos...
When we got off the ferry, it took some time for us to get to our apartment...
Before going to our apartment, stopped by a bakery to get something to eat because there was no time to have lunch...
We were going to be late for checking in and might just be late for Mass at the church on Penang Island...
We bought what we wanted and ate in the car while trying to get to our apartment...
The lady arrived and brought us to our apartment room...

We just put our luggage down and quickly drank some hot drinks and ate a little snack...
Those who wanted to shower took a quick shower and we got ready to go for Mass...
Audrey wore her Justin Bieber shirt (which was a gifted to her by someone >.<)
While we were going to be late for Mass, I was on my own car this time and taking a nap because I was exhausted from the flu and having a headache... (The flu really spoiled my day)
While my brothers and I were sleeping, we missed a rare police action...
My mother said that there were some police surrounding a pale man...
She said that he was shot....
Darn it, of all the time for us to fall asleep, we missed all the action :C
Anyways, we arrived at the usual church we go for Mass, the Immaculate Conception...
Thinking that we were going to be late for Mass, I saw some people walking around and I said "I think Mass not yet start la."
So my mum asked me to check the time for Mass and we were not late...
Mass was at 6.30pm and we were there at 6.10pm ...
After Mass, we relaxed around the church compound for awhile...
Once the adults were done discussing, we decided to have dinner at the same food court we went to last year and meet up with the Sequerah's (some other family friends who were around in Penang)....
After finding a place to park in that crowded food court, we went inside and ordered some food before the Sequerah's arrive because we did not have a proper lunch in the afternoon....
Aunty Ros, my mum and I ordered char kuay teow, one of Penang's delicacies....
The rest ordered claypot chicken rice....
My dad and Uncle Das were drinking beer....
Audrey took my camera to see all the photos that I have taken and then she took some photos at the food court as well....
While we were enjoying our dinner, the Singapore vs Malaysia football match was being broadcast....
Enjoying the game while having our dinner...
It was disappointing though that Malaysia lost...
But it what was awesome was the fact that people shot up firework when Malaysia scored two goals...
Amazing!!!
The Sequerah's did not show up because they went to the wrong place but what does it matter huh??? Hehe >.<
After enjoying dinner for a long time, we headed back for our apartment...
Everyone was tired after the long, long day...
We washed up one by one to get ready for bed...
My dad went straight for bed without washing up because he did not get enough sleep the night before...
The mothers were busy having a chat while me and my brothers waited for our turn to take a shower and get ready for bed...
Audrey was watching Tomb Raider without her eyes barely open...
She was so sleepy...
After awhile Uncle Das headed for bed and so did Audrey....
My brothers and I waited for the mothers to finished their conversation before we could sleep...
We slept at the living room because there were only two bedrooms....
One for my parents and the other for Uncle Das's family....
My brothers and I did not get a really good sleep that night because it was very cold...
The fan was at full blast at speed 5 while the air-cond was with the temperature of 16 degree...
I woke up a several few times and so did my brothers...
I woke up at 3am to go the the toilet and also to slow the fan down...
Again at 5am to increase the temperature to 25 degree...
Throughout the night I could hardly feel my legs and I knocked my head on the chairs so many times...
I was right under the air-cond so I used the mattress which we were suppose to sleep on as a blanket...
Because of that I had to put my pillow under the chair where my head was too of course..
That is why I knocked my head every time I woke up...

The next morning, at 7am....
I woke up and bumped my head yet again on the chair...
I did not wanted to knock my head again so I decided to wake up...
I turned off the air-cond and opened the sliding door so that it would warm up a little...
As I was approaching the cabinet where the water was, I knocked my head on the cabinet instead....
Ouch!! What a head knocking sensation >.<
I still had flu in the morning....
My brothers, my mother and I were the awake already...
I washed up and changed out of my pyjamas....
Because of my sneezing and coughing, I woke Aunty Rose and Uncle Das up...
Aunty Rose asked Uncle Das to get the medicines from their car...
So Uncle Das went down to get it...
I was enjoying a cup of coffee with some biscuits....
When Uncle Das got back up with the medicine, I took three of those yellow tablets and it slowly got better...
Everyone was slowly waking up and getting changed, having breakfast with some hot drinks...
The last to wake up was Audrey...
Once everyone was changed and ready, it was about 9am...
We went out to go see my pick up my grandaunt from her apartment so that she can show us the way to the old folks' home, the Little Sister of the Poor....
My other grandaunt was there....
I was sitting on my own car this time (Wow I keep changing between two cars >.< )
On the way there, I told my dad about the scratch on my camera screen because I had lost my camera casing when I went for the trip to Taylor's College....
I also told my mum that Audrey mentioned that she wanted to go to Tesco the day before...
So my dad decided to stop by Tesco to walk around a little and to get my camera casing....
The casing cost RM100, it was very expensive...
I got scolding from my mum for losing it...
We walked around a little after that...
Then at a point, Aunty Rose gave Audrey RM10 to buy something but she did not buy anything and decided to keep it instead...
She insisted on getting an Angry Birds merchandise but there wasn't any around....
I bought the new Mentos brand which was the Air Action Mentos...
It was to help improve the condition of my flu ( It really did in the end >.< )
And then we left for my grandaunt's apartment...
I sat on Uncle Das's car again and luckily I did...
Even on the way out of Tesco building, we lost my father's car...
Can you imagine??
Why would they put so many way out of a single building... -.-
So we waited beside a construction site and Uncle Das called my dad....
Later we made a U-turn and finally found my father further down the road...
And we are off again....
When we reached there, I got off the car to see my grandaunt...
She wanted to treat us to breakfast but we told her that we have eaten already...
And so we left for the Little Sisters of the Poor...
After some time, we got there....
It was a beautiful place, simply marvelous...
It was almost like paradise for this old folks' ....

As we walked towards the building, my brothers, Audrey and I saw a cage with a parrot in it...
This was our first encounter with a real parrot and so we played with it...
I always that what we see on television is fake but I was amazed at what the parrot could do...
We tried saying "Hello" and the parrot replied "Hello" back to us...
We even tried many other lines and sounds but he did not do all of it...
Later, we decided to get into the building with our parents and so we said "Bye" and it replied "Bye" back to us...
It was really cool how it was able to speak just like us...
So awesome!!!
The moment we walked in, I was astonished by the inner beauty of the building...
It was so refreshing and nice...
I took a photo of the dining hall but then I was told that I cannot take pictures without permission so I stopped....
And then my grandaunt took us up to see my other grandaunt...
We went on the elevator up to the second floor....
Yet another beautiful sight...
We walked around a little and soon after we saw our grandaunt who was staying there...
The moment she saw us she started shedding tears of joy and asked my brothers and I , "Where is your mummy?? "
And we told her she is around...
Soon after, my mum came and she hugged her...
They both were crying...
My mother was so happy to see her...
And then we entered the chapel....
It was so beautiful I almost couldn't believe it...
The crucifix was so detailed with the blood marks and all...
It was so peaceful in the chapel...
I wanted to take a photo but my dad told me not to...
Later I went out to where Uncle Das and his family was...
I saw them talking to one of the nuns which was actually the Mother Superior (or so my grandaunt says), which is the head of all the nuns there....
I greeted her "Good morning" and she was telling us about the place...
Later she decided to show us around the place...
We asked for permission to take photos and she said "Certainly"
So I quickly went in a took just one picture of the chapel...

The first place sister showed us was the living room where the senior citizens gather to have a sing-along or watch television...
She then showed us the one of the folks' room ....
She told us "You see one then you've seen them all"
Next, was the place where volunteers have their break....
After that, was the kitchen where I could see some of the senior citizens helping out along with the nuns...
The laundry was the next place...
There she explained how they wash the clothes of 63 old folks' ...
She even showed us this machine that helps to iron the clothes and another machine to iron the bed sheets....
She showed us the mortuary as well...
I thought it was going to be scary to go in but then I only saw holy statues...
She told us a story about a Hindu man who died with no relatives...
His final wishes was that they prayed the Catholic prayer for him...
A wonderful story that sister told us....
The mortuary was a simple place though...
After that, we saw the multi-purpose hall...
In here they hold a lot of events...
Like bowling, the men and women challenged each other in darts, performances....
They even have sound systems and a LCD projector to let them watch movie...
Wow, what a life don't you think??
And to think I said it was a boring place...
Just outside of the hall, we saw a lady playing the piano...
Is amazing how such an old lady can play the piano so well, without GLASSES!!
Then there was this board where coloured pictures was put up...
Sister explained to us that a session for colouring is held once a week...
Through the colours used to colour their pictures, the sisters would know how the folks' are feeling....
Then, she took us out the back way...
There was a beautiful park like place there and the old building was there as well...
We passed a workshop where all repairs and everything were done...
We arrived at a small building...
There was a statue of St.Joseph...
She told us that they gather at that statue to pray for the conversion of those who were non-Catholic there...
She then told us that the small building there was actually the original building of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Penang...
She told us a story about how the place came to be...
A non-Catholic man one day was amazed at the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor at Kuala Lumpur so he asked the sisters to open one at Penang...
He donated the land and the building itself...
Its a wonder how kind he was to donate the land despite not being a Catholic...
God bless this man...
She told us then that everything in the place is donated....
Then sister asked whether we want to see the gymnasium...
We were shocked to hear that there is a gymnasium in an old folks' home...
So we were excited to see it...
We went back into the building and she showed us the way to the gymnasium...
I as usual was taking photos all around....
I even took one photo of a hallway which looked almost the one in the movie Exorcism of Emily Rose...
When I got back and saw that picture, there was a light image of a couple standing there...
It spooked me when my mum and dad told me about it...
Eeee.....
Anyways, sister showed us the doctor room next...
There I saw a beautiful picture of Jesus and St.John...
I took a photo of it...
Next we walked to a hallway with three room covered by a glass mirror and door...
The first one was a reading room or a library to be precise...
In the middle there was a saloon where the folks' hair would be able to cut their hair once a week...
On the other side was a convenience store where those folks' who are unable to go out of the place can get what they want...
After passing all that, we reached the gymnasium which was empty at that moment...
It was amazing for an old folks' home to have such a well equipped gym...
I immediately started talking photos of each equipment as it was amazing...
Its specially built for old people...
The only common gym equipment was the treadmill...
The rest were specially made...
For example one was like a paddle for hands to help strengthen the arm muscles....
Then there was another that looked like a ladder to help them stimulate their leg muscles...
One for training them to raise their legs up when walking...
Then there was a scanner and so much more equipment there....
Sister allowed us to try out some of it and she explained about each one of it...
After that, she took us further down the hallway to show us another room...
On the way we saw an arts and craft room...
There was so many nice things done by the old folks' there that were for sale...
She told us that there was even a place for them to make rosaries with beads...
Then there was this craft that was made out of ice-cream sticks...
A man had made it out of creativity...
On the way to that same room, I saw a dark room with a computer in it...
She said it was a computer room.. (Wow!! Can you imagine that old people also enjoy using the computer >.< )
Finally we reached the room...
It was a room with a huge plasma tv...
She said that the room was for a more personal gathering....
There was a carved decoration in that room that was donated and been there for 70 over years...
Amazing don't you think??
It was a nice room for personal gatherings....
She showed us a round many places (some which I do not really remember) and told us many story about the place...
And that gathering room was the last room before we wanted to leave...
On the way out, outside of the reading room, there was a man sitting there...
We greeted him earlier, his name is Lawrence (I think that's how its spelled)
Sister then told us a tale about him saving the old folks' home during the time they were still using the old building...
The damp broke down and everyone was sleeping...
Lawrence was the one who woke all the nuns up and saved everyone there...
Its cool how a there is a living hero there ^^
Everyone was truly blest to have this man..
We greeted him goodbye and promised to keep him in our prayers...
After that long tour, we asked sister to take a group photo with us...
We had to take to split group photos because the counter lady did not wanted to help us take the picture...
First I was taking the picture then later my dad...
Sister was standing next to Audrey and she said that she would be a future nun...
Uncle Das even mentioned me to sister and she said she would pray for me (Awesome in a way but I don't think I really wanna be a priest XP )
After that, I took a photo of my mum with both of my grandaunts...
While the adults continue talking with sister and my mum talked with my grandaunts, my brothers, Audrey and I went to disturb the parrot again...
Uncle Das came in for a while and at that time the parrot showed us some stunts...
It was just too bad I did not catch a video of him doing it..
It was awesome...
He first slowly opened up his wings and all...
And then he did a spin around the stick and started making this weird screeching sound...
Later when Uncle Das had left, my dad came by...
He taught the parrot some other words and the parrot did say it...
Too bad the mums did not get to see this...
After some time, it was time to leave...
The last photo I took there was the electrical belt on top of the building...
And then we bid farewell and left as the old folks' have their lunch...

After leaving the Little Sisters of the Poor, we were suppose to send my grandaunt home but she wanted to treat us to lunch and so we stopped by that food court near her apartment...
The adults were sitted on while table while we the children was sitted on another...
We ordered our food and drinks...
When the char kuay teow arrived, Audrey asked whether there was oyster in it and she said that she was allergic to seafood...
So she put the seafood aside and slowly ate it...
One my eldest brother, Nicholas, and I was done eating, we decided to walk around outside to look for that Muar Chee shop we usually go to...
The way they make it is awesome and it is very tasty so we really wanted to find this shop...
So we took a stroll outside...
We walked around and then we saw this shop with a lot of Angry Birds merchandise which we wanted to show Audrey one she is done eating...
And then we found that very same Muar Chee shop...
We went to look for our dad to get some money and then we took my other brother, Kevin, and Audrey with us...
We took Audrey to the shop with the Angry Birds stuff first and let her have a look around...
She was so excited to buy the merchandise but she only had RM10 with her (which she got while we were in Tesco, lucky she did not use it >.< )
So in the end she got a pencil box worth RM5 and two keychains (the pig and the yellow bird) which cost RM2.50 each...
She was happy but she could not get the bag worth RM38 which she really wanted...
Another good thing was we told her to get what she want first before we return to our parents because we might not be able to come back to that shop...
And guess what?? It really did happen like that >.<
After that, we went to get our Muar Chee and we returned back to our parents...
Later, we sent my grandaunt back....
We were suppose to return to our apartment actually but then my dad decided to go get the famous Tambun biscuits first before returning to our apartment to pack up and check out...

It was raining when we got there...
We were all holding umbrellas and walking towards the very same shop we go to every year...
The rain eventually slowed down as we approached the shops...
Along the way, Audrey saw some things that she wanted to buy so she went with her mum to buy something while my mum and dad was busy buying the Tambun biscuits and all...
My brothers, Uncle Das and I were sitting on the chair waiting for them...
The raining started pouring heavily again...
After awhile, they got back and when all was done we walked back towards the car...
We wanted to have the all so famous cendol from the street side shop but we could not as it was raining...
Getting back on the car, we were off back to the apartment...
My dad wanted to stop by the cendol shop so that my mum can have the cendol but there was no place to park so we moved on back to the apartment...
While Uncle Das was trailing my dad back to the apartment, many uncourteous driver keep cutting in between making it difficult to trail my dad's car...
At a point when there was a turning to the left and right, I realise that the number plate of the Proton Saga was not my dad's...
So we stopped and had lost the way...(Its a good thing I sat on Uncle Das's car >.< )
So Uncle Das called my dad and after that we decided to go back to that same road and turn the other way this time...
We stopped by a shop and asked for directions to Batu Ferringhi...
There was two Chinese man who gave a very difficult instruction to get there...
Thank God for this Indian man on a motorcycle who came out of nowhere and decided to show us the way on his motorcycle...
He showed us the way and brought us back on the right track...
My father had told me on the phone to continuously follow the signboard that says Batu Ferringhi but the Indian man had taken us to Pulau Tikus instead...
So in the end we stopped in front of the Pulau Tikus police station for my dad to come and pick us up...
After quite a long wait, my dad came and we trailed him again...
This time my dad called Uncle Das and told him not to be courteous to other driver and keep trailing him right on the back...
And so he did but the uncourteous drivers around did not give in and kept making it difficult to trail my dad...
But its a good thing we have reached the area which I'm familiar with so we got back to the apartment in the end...
This has caused a major delay so we were way off schedule to go back...
When we got back, we quickly went up and packed up...
Uncle Das was taking a quick shower to freshen up...
I was taking pictures of my dad at the balcony with the view of the sea...
At that time, my brothers and Audrey were watching television so I took photos of them and then I joined in and my dad took a picture of us...
Once we were all prepared, we went down to the parking lot and loaded the luggage into the car..
We took a group photo at the parking lot before leaving...
Once we were done, we were off for home...

We stopped by the petrol station first to fuel up before going home...
After that, we stopped by Gurney Drive for awhile to take some photos of the beautiful sea (which did not seem so beautiful anymore)
Then, we left for the ferry...
We waited in the long queue to get onto the ferry...
After some time, we got onto the ferry and I took my last few shots of photos for this trip...
There wasn't anymore after that, its a stop for this trip...
We enjoyed the breeze of the sea on the ferry on that cold day...
Sitted on Uncle Das's car again, we moved out of the ferry first before my father...
My father had specifically said to turn right after the traffic light but Uncle Das made a mistake and went in front...
He stopped and waited for my dad...
Because it was the wrong way, my dad did not appear so I called my father...
We made a U-turn and moved towards the road that we were suppose to take...
After the toll, we saw my dad and we moved on back home...
Throughout the trip home, I was playing with my PSP...
It was very cold in the car due to the rain...
Audrey was listening to her musics and felt asleep half way...
After a long drive, we reached the ever so busy Tapah rest stop...
We bought the guavas there as usual...
We went to the restroom and after that had our dinner there....
The food was good...
After dinner, we were back on the move...
From there on I was suppose to get on my own car already but instead my father told me to follow Uncle Das and get back on once we reach the Seremban toll...
And so I did...
We left the rest stop at 9pm...
Again I was playing my PSP and the sleepy Audrey was sleeping throughout the journey...
At 10pm, I decided to sleep as there was school the next day...
I knew that it would take two hour or so to reach back to Seremban from the Tapah rest stop that is why I knew I could sleep for an hour at least...
When we were approaching the Seremban toll, I woke up and was still sleepy...
My dad was there for some time already..
When we got there, I went out of the car and greeted Uncle Das and family goodnight and goodbye...
And finally we reached home after a long a tiring journey to Penang...

Wow!!!
This must be the longest post I have ever written.... Haha!!!
Well, in short, I had an awesome time with my family and Uncle Das family...
I hope I can enjoy myself like this more often in future...
Well there is another trip with family friends to Port Dickson coming around so I'm looking forward to it...
Till next time readers...
Take care ^^
