Moments never forgotten/ My day in Jusco with my 'Family'

Today was yet another wonderful time spent with my 'Family' which I have explained about in my previous post...
As usual the ideal place to hang out with friends around here is JUSCO!!!
It was all well planned through Facebook...
But the thing is, I never planned to go for this, what they all called 'ROMBONGAN'
But last night, Samantha, my dear friend, asked whether I was coming or not...
At first it was a "No" , but later after talking for a while I said "I'll try my best to come ok??"
And in the end I got a lot of screwing from my mum because I have been spending a lot of money of late, but I went to Jusco...
It was Calvin's birthday, but we celebrated his along with Brendan for Brendan's birthday was just three days away...
I got there and met up with some of them, then we headed for the cinema...
There we saw Brendan all alone who have been waiting for around 30 minutes or so...
We bought tickets and waited for the rest there..
When everyone was here we headed to have lunch at KFC...
Most of us did not eat, which we so called "Diet" .... hehe >.<
Later, Sonia and Esther said they wanted to go to the toilet...
They had it all planned but I think I was the only blur case who did not know that they were gonna surprise the birthday boys...
By the way, I did not had lunch :(
Sonia and Esther actually went to get a birthday cake for them...
They came back with a cake( like I said) with lighted candles of course... 2 candles for 2 boys... hehe XD
We sang a birthday song a took a photo together... Sadly, Elysia, who was not suppose to be with us, did not dare to take a photo with us because she is afraid her mum will find out if it gets posted on Facebook...
We sat there for some time, I shared Brendan's fries and had some of the cake to fill my hunger...
We sat there till it was almost time for us to head for the movie we wanted to watch, Narnia....
Samantha bought a big box of popcorn... Big like as in BIG!!!
And everyone bought whatever they wanted... Not everyone (including myself... coz I came with only RM20)
We shared the popcorn while watching the movie, I think I ate a lot (Coz I was hungry lol >.< )
Anyways the movie was awesome, because I'm a crazy guy when it comes to battle and myth related stuffs, and Narnia is one of them...
It was 2 long hours in that cold, dark cinema room (number 5 hehe ^^ )
We came out and headed for bowling, but sadly not everyone played....
But it was fun, I got a total of 119 score today hehe.... So many strikes and spares ^^
Whenever I see them laugh or smile, I just feel this sense of happiness...
Its like sharing what they feel, its an awesome feeling....
They when for a second game, but my thumb was hurt from the first so I did not join this time....
After that, Sonia and Judy went to play at the basketball machine for a while and then he headed off to McDonald's to eat... Again!!
On the way, we saw Natasha with her mum at the money changer, to change money of course, as they were going to go to Hong Kong the next day...
Daryl went home feeling stressed that he had to go for karate for the second time today while we were eating, and then Samantha headed home too after eating...
After eating, Judy and Sonia wanted to head for Silver Dragon ( or the other way round... I not sure >.< ) , to get their ear pierced (although they already had their ears pierce many times before)
On the way there, Esther left us too... So sad :(
Anyways, ear- piercing is no fun thing to watch...
When I saw that stapler gun looking thing to pierce the ear, I could just imagine how painful it would have been...
Sonia and Judy had their ear pierced (Ouch!!), Brendan was excitingly watching how it was done, I was blur just wondering how painful it is gonna be and Francisca was so scared to watch she actually closed her eyes..
After that painful experience (even though it was not being done on me), Francisca went home with SOMEONE!!! ( I don't want to mention) walking her out.... hehe XD
We went to the arcade again for a game of pool...
Boys vs. Girls
Brendan and me vs. Sonia and Judy
Horrible, boys lost to girls :'(
Used the remaining tokens to play Time Crisis 2 with Brendan...
Sonia went home...
We all called our parents...
Reached the ground floor and I bid my farewell to the those who were still around (Calvin, Brendan, Judy, Wendy) with a nice big hug....
I just love all of this people...
They make me feel so complete in life, its like they make life so beautiful...
I am really blest just to know them, and I hope everyone feels blest with the friends they have...
Friends are magical, they give you a sense of belonging....
Dear readers, I will write on something about friendship in my point of view in another post to come...
But now I have to head for bed because I'm starting work tomorrow.... Haha...
So good night everyone (If it is night when you read this post... Haha XD )

2010 Youth Camp

Exactly a week from the confirmation camp...
Our annual Youth Camp but this time we had it in the Catholic Center due to the renovations being done in the church the hall can't be used...
Today was a great day...
The moment I arrived I ran towards my friends, regardless boy or girl, and gave them a big 'bear' hug....
I missed them so much thats why I did that....
For today's one day camp, we had Eric( A happy-go-lucky looking person)
As the sessions went on I realised his style of speaking has some similarity to Martin Jalleh...
Until he mentions that he knows Martin, my curiousity was answered....
His sessions were fun though...
I got blindfolded, again like some years back in another youth camp, and the team members who got 'cacated' are not allowed to speak while only the normal person can...
We were instructed to build a tower out of newspaper...
Ideas were flowing in my head but I was unable to speak, but the team did well( though the tower was unstable)
The sessions went on and it got more exciting...
I learnt something new today, about people who attend camps like this...
1) People who are forced to come are known as 'Prisoners'
2)People who come to have fun like crazy are known as 'Vacationers'
3) People who come to learn and ask questions are known as 'Explorers'
And another thing about fun, there are 2 types of fun...
1)Fun as in fun
2) Monkey fun, meaning a type of fun to attract everyones attention
And another thing...(I'm not sure how to spell it but thats how it sounds like)
1)Introverts, Quiet people that think before talking
2)Extroverts, Talkative people who talk before thinking
And something about HABIT...
Habits are never really thrown that easily because:
-When you throw away the H, you still have ABIT
-When you throw away the A, you still have BIT
-When you throw away the B, you still have IT
Eric sure made a lot of sense in this....

Finally I want to write a funny joke here that Eric told us,
Eric has a friend who is working as a air attendant(if I think thats what its called)
So one day there was a longgggggg que and it was a big group of people trying to get on this flight,
So this one man cut the que and came in front saying "I have to get on that plane now"
She replied "Sir, I will attend to you but you have to que up"
And he asked, "Do you know who I am? Do you know who I am?"
So she went to the PA system and said "Can anyone come to the counter now to identify this man? He does not know who he is."
And of course this man got pissed so he says "F**k you"
She replied, "Sir, even if you want to F**k me you this have to que up"

Hahahha, this joke was hilarious...
In short I learnt a lots of new things today....
Eric is awesome but still not as awesome as Martin...
He comes 2nd to Martin though...

The Confirmation Camp, A camp that touched many and changed us

The Confirmation Camp...
Its not any normal camp I have ever known in my life...
We were the first badge of confirmation students to have our camp at Starfresh Agro Park...
A beautiful place away from the real world, calm, relaxing, comforting....
It may not be the best place in the world, but its a place I will forever remember...
It is where I found the new me.... A place where everybody found their newself...
We have learnt many new things from this camp...
We started out by hanging envelopes around the room, each with our own name written on it...
We were later explained about what it was for, we were all to write affirmation notes to each other..
For this camp, a motivator like no other was sent to us, Martin Jalleh, a man who I think is truely blest to run a camp...He helped us find ourselves in this camp...
He is a very funny man yet at the same time spiritual...
He can make us laugh at almost any time... Very funny man..
He uses videos and songs for teaching us also...
Beautiful videos and songs like the Taize's Bless the Lord Chant, Mary Did you Know,You Raise Me Up,Hero, a voice that amazed all- Susan Boyle, a man that shows us how fortunate and blest we are- Tony Melandez, how much an Earthly father can love his child- Team Hoyt, and how people can work miracles together- The Vocapeople....
He taught us through three different perspective- I,You(others) and God
We have learnt to be happy for who we are and to have faith in ourselves will lead us to greatness. We must never fear what others think of us.
We have to always know ourselves first to know others. We asked ourselves, "Who am I?" . We have to be ordinary to be extraordinary, like an empty cup which can be filled by God's blessings.
We always have a choice in life....
Then, we leant about God's love...
His love is first love, which means he always searches for us first, it is never us who searches for God.
His love is sacrificial.
His love is steadfast. Emeth which means Truth. The reliability, dependability and faithfullness of God to us.
His love is an affirming love.
And finally his love is humorous.
He answers our prayers in his own mysterious way.
The image of God in our head was always painful, but Martin has taught us that God does not necessary have to always be sorrowful but he can also be joyful.
The Laughing Christ

He has taught us the meaning of the sign of the cross which means by the power and authority of God.
But apart from all he taught us.. Nothing was as wonderful as the inner healing session....
It was the first time I have ever been through inner healing...
It is the best experience I have ever had in my whole life...
We were all sitting apart in the room with the lights off...
Martin then played a very beautiful song and an image of Jesus was projected on the screen.
Everyone was sitting in the silence.
While that was happening, we all closed our eyes and he speaks.
He asks us to recall the times of our hurts,to forgive, to thank, to reflect...
As we recall the hurts in our lives, tears of sadness roll down our eyes.
A great and strong presence was felt, like as though God was holding me around his arms and crying with me, feeling all my hurt.
While we were crying, the cathechist, the sisters(nuns), and Martin moved around and said a prayer for each of us one by one.
It was a very touching prayer and it was a weird but wonderful feeling...
I cried a lot and I feel so much more for others who have more hurt than I do...
I feel so sad when I realise how little of love I show to God when he loves me so much, I realise how much my parents love me, I feel sad that I have not said " I love you" to them for so long, I realise how fortunate I am to have such a happy family...
After the inner healing session, I felt so light, like as though all the weight I have for years have just been lifted away as we surrender ourselves to God.
This has changed us, the way we think, the way we see things, the way we feel....
After the inner healing session, everyone went around hugging and comforting one another...
I have never seen all my friends,my companion feeling so much of hurt before...
As I hug them, I felt their pain, their hurt...
I could feel it like as though it was mine...
A friend of mine, Julian, told me this, "I feel very stupid because it took us 16 years to realise all this". And I agree with him a 100%
If we had not pause like the traffic light, like Martin said, Stop, Look and Go, to be in silence, we would not have realise this...
It takes a man like Martin to keep us in this warm silence with the presence of God...
On the final day of this 3 day camp, he gave us a talk on sex education, I find it very useful to us teenagers for it gives us an awareness of what is happening...
It was necessary for us, especially if we are involved in anything like that...
Watching pornography, masturbation, pre-marital sex,etc...
And finally, the parent's session, when we were to sing a beautiful song to our parents, "You Raise Me Up"....
As we sang this song, the parents shed tears, it was sung so beautifully, I felt like it but I did not cry...
Then all of us went to our parents and gave such a warm hug...
In all my life I have never felt such a warm hug as I hug my mother and told her "I love you, ma"...
It has been so long since I last told her that, and it is all thanks to Martin that I was able to do it...
And as we prepare ourselves to head home, everyone again hugged one another saying "I'm gonna miss you,Love you bro/sis, Take care"...
We felt so sad that it was time for us to have been connected to one another by God's love to part our ways...
But it was happy too because we are about to return back to our own family, a new and more holy, more aware Catholic person...
I decided to take the bus home, to be with my family in Christ, just a last few moments of the camp on the journey home to the Church..
We all asked Martin for his signature and promised to keep in touch...
This camp has made us realise that we are one with God in all we do...
Meeting new friends and a growing bond with old ones...
Overcome what we have sealed in our hearts for years...
To forgive ourselves and others, to release all our angers, fears and guilt...
To be prepared for the world...
To be a new person through confirmation...
To say "Yes" to God's call.....

Samantha's Awesome Sweet 16th Birthday Bash

21st of November 2010,
An awesome day I will never ever forget...
It was my friend's, Samantha, sweet 16th birthday 'dance' bash(its not her actual birthday thought.. lol)
I started off by heading to Raymond's house to follow him to get to the Sungai Ujong Club where the party was being held..
We got there later than the stated time, but what the heck, nobody ever comes early...
Not everybody was there yet, we arrived at the front door of the hall and Joseph signed the attendance/wish book for Raymond, himself, Abel and me....
We were of course greeted by all our friends...
We took our place on a table at the back, which I later change to another table with my other friends...
I was glad that all my friends were around especially Julian, my classmate from school....
At first I was like, "I'm not gonna dance... No way... I'm gonna stick to the shadows" nonsense like that....
But the performance started to get to me....
The man who danced like Michael Jackson, the chinese boys who did the dance cover for se7en's song Digital Bounce, the kids who did a wonderful group dance, the hot German girls who did what they do best,DANCING!!! , and course the most important person of the day, the DJ!!!
They got the crowd pumping....
Of course there were food for dinner...
After dinner we had this fun game....Its a dancing game.... The rules were simple... Dance with a partner and remain standing on the newspaper after the song stops...
It went on to folding the newspaper....But now there was a change in rules.... Dance off the newspaper and get on it when song stops....
I lasted a while but my big feet got the better of me when the paper got too small....HAHA!!
Then the finals for the games was hot like crazy... It got all the guys crazy.... Those German girls were doing a freakin hot dance on stage while the final 4 competitors were dancing on the dance floor...
Later the 4 German girls came down and dance with each one of the competitors.... It was like a freakin nightclub.... they were awesome and hot at the same time....
The crowd went wild.... And when the song stopped, the competitors quickly got on the paper....
At a count of 5 one of the group lost balance and the winner was decided....
And then the best part of the day came.... The DJ announced, "The dance floor is now open to everyone"
Damn, I went crazy all of a sudden, my point at the start of the day to not dance just faded off...
I told Julian to join me at the dance floor.... Everyone was dancing....
But then Jonathan, Luke and me thought of the best thing ever..... A DANCE OFF!!! WOOT!!
We really busted some moves.... I showed off some of my moves of course... I never even knew I had it in me to do it....
The crowd went wild.... The cheering of the crowd makes you go crazy when you hear them...
It was an awesome feeling ..... Three of my life desire was fulfilled that day...
1)To dance in a nightclub
2)To have a dance off
3) To show off my dance skills
I am freakin happy now *cheese* .... hahahaha!!!
Sadly not everyone had it in them to show off their dance moves on the dance floor...
For the boys only a few of us bust a move the most... It was me, Luke, and Jonathan... The chinese boys that performed earlier danced too..
The girls had an advantage because that had 4 pros which were the German girls...
We danced off for quite a long time.... Till the girls took over the dance floor as the boys got tired..
Everyone sat at the back to have a chat... Eventually the girls got tired...
Some of us had the dancing spirit till the very end.... I was one of them and so was Brendan, Zeke, John, Julian and some others.... We danced like there was no tomorrow...
Until the last 15 minutes, I managed to get the crowd at the back to dance till the last song...
It was and awesome night... I night I will never forget....
I really thank Sam for it and the DJ for being with us till the end...
I hope we can do something like this again..... Till then readers

A day at Jusco for 4 Basilian, the best class ever

OMG!!! Readers I haven't blog like almost the last I can even remember....
I'm so sry.... Busy wit exams and some other things....
Well I have a shit load to blog about but don't worry....
Wat I left out when in came into my head before I will post...
But for today, I'm gonna post about my fun day trip along with my class which consist of 45 people to Jusco shopping mall....YAY!!!
Well, first of all, 45 people in a shopping mall is totally ridiculous...
But fortunately for me the one who organised this, only around 28 people came....(thank God)
So I have to manage it... But the first thing that happened this morning was my phone line got barred for overusing just to organise this....LOL!!!
Well I was there by 9.15 and so was Govinash....
We waited there for like half an hour for the rest to arrive.... P.S. It was before opening hours..... HAHA!!
By 10.30 most of them were gathered, but I was in a crisis as my phone battery went dead.....
So I went to use some phone charging machine by the toilet.... LOL!!!
At around 10.45 we all headed for the bowling alley/arcade to have some fun....
13 of us went ahead with bowling including me and the rest went to play at the arcade or pool....
We spent like about an hour or so there....
After that, some of us went to play at the cyber cafe while the rest continue playing at the arcade....
6 people including me played a 3v3 counter-strike game and my team won hands down 20-3.... haha!!! XD
By 12+ we headed for KFC to have our lunch..... This was the best part of the day...
We all gathered outside KFC like a pack of wolves.... We went on which having a standard meal for everyone since we were using our class fund....
We had the snack plate costing like about RM10 per person....
When we were in, I told 2 of my friends, Jeyain and Bryan, "Get a place for us first... I don't care if its full, kill, steal or watever get us all a place".
So they did, it was like magic.... A place full of people suddenly went empty...
Well the ordering was even better.... I was ordering of course, I told the cashier, "26 snack plates please...." she was smiling at me, "Drinks all Pepsi no mix" she was like thinking 'OMG!! stock habis la' in her head, "No ice for all pls".... That was when she totally blurred out.... You will laugh when you see her face so blur..
Then, of course we took photos throughout the day....
Later after lunch we started to part ways.... Some headed home, some to movies and as for my group....BOWLING again!!!
And you know wat was cooler??? Today me and my friend met this Nigerian guy with an afro named Bryan...
The HELL!!! he was freaking cool.... He was like the Michael Jackson of the 21st century...
Well in short we have a lot of fun..... I will remember this day forever....
3 cheers for 4 Basilian!!!!
